RE: Eminence 2.0 - three80 - 2015-09-26

I don't know why the pics won't show up but I guess since the colors won't show up on AFTV then I'm just not allowed to have nice things? lol

RE: Eminence 2.0 - -FuFu- - 2015-09-26

did you installed the latest git versions from "skinshortcuts" and "skin helper service"?
here color selection works fine

you can also try to delete the "script.skin.helper.service" in "user/addon_data", maybe it helps

RE: Eminence 2.0 - jurialmunkey - 2015-09-27

@three80 I can tell from your log that you are missing the pil imaging module which is a dependency of helper service.

That file is generated by skinshortcuts and is not editable. Look in the skin.eminence.2/shortcuts/mainmenu.DATA.xml for the setup used when reseting to defaults.

RE: Eminence 2.0 - KarmaMole - 2015-09-27

Jurial - thanks for the latest git with the transparency depending on the posters, however - now - if I set the skin to 'skin default' - the 'info' is still transparent unless I also show posters, or click up to see the posters. I think it makes sense that when the 'skin default' setting is selected (opaque) the info widget is also opaque whether or not the posters are shown.

Sorry if I'm going on and on about what seems like a simple issue Smile

great work, just love the skin
Its in Smile

But again, making it optional and contingent is a 'solution' - just not a perfect one, because it means that for some configurations the skin will, in fact, look inconsistent.

It really does look weird to have some elements opaque and some transparent.
Figured a way to do this. Check latest git. Should be transparent when posters disabled (and transparent theme enabled), and should be transparent for poster on up until you press up when it will go opaque.

If people want to make the skin look inconsistent via options that is up to them -- goal is to allow enough customisability, but have the default options strive for consistency and out-of-the-box usability.

will it be possible to add a Menu to edit the Power Options? (like in my screenshot)

I add this option myself and yes, i missed some power options. In other skins i just edit out the options i wont need, but maybe its a option, that other people also like to use, so i just asking if you maybe will add this feature? Smile
I'm looking at using skinshortcuts to edit the power menu. That way you will be able to repurpose the menu however you want.

Thanks. Yes, but not until the Jarvis release. The Jarvis release will take advantage of the new resource addons which will allow you to install whichever genre icons you wish to use.

No, bug reports are great!!! Smile

Should be fixed, just missed a bracket in the fade condition (that'll teach me to only test transparent theme settings).

RE: Eminence 2.0 - jurialmunkey - 2015-09-27

@avia -- Not sure if it will work, but you could try an <onload>SetFocus(9000,9)</onload> in Home.xml
