Please post a link to a full debug log (wiki) with the Skin Shortcuts scripts own debug logging option enabled - System/Settings > Add-Ons > System > Dependencies > Skin Shortcuts - and include a screenshot showing the issue. (Please note that my own policy is there is a large amount of logging from addons that violate the forums piracy policy (wiki) I won't actually look through the log, and therefore won't be able to assist any further)
You might see the error but trust me when I say non of those are actually causing any problems with the menu editor:-

Hi folks
I've been using eminence v1 for a while (15 months or so) on Helix / Jarvis and have just taken the plunge with v2 on a fresh installation of Jarvis.
I'm starting everything from scratch in Jarvis and have spent a couple of hours today setting up the skin as it was in my Jarvis build. However I've just realised this is probably a bad idea, I should really be looking into using new the skin's new features rather than trying to mimic my existing setup.
So I'd like to learn more about the new features, is there a document that I can refer to somewhere, or do I need to go through the 40+ pages of this thread?

You didn't have Kodi's debug logging option enabled when you created that log. Please read debug log (wiki), and also ensure you enable Skin Shortcuts own debug logging option. As I'm still not sure what text isn't appearing correctly, please also upload a screenshot showing the issue (just taking a picture of your TV is enough if you're using a box that doesn't make it easy to take a screenshot.
I can see from it the repo's you have installed, though, so take into account what I've quoted from myself above.

You didn't enable Skin Shortcuts own debug logging, but from what I can see in the log the script - which manages the menu editor - is running successfully. Unfortunately, as the script in question is my area of expertise, I can't provide any further help. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you get to the bottom of your issue.

When launching kodi with the eminence 2.0 skin (kodi 16.0 latest version) it starts my last seen channel (iptv simple client)
But when it is loading the epg, showing the menu and in the background the playing channel. Kodi freezes when it reaches 99 or 100%
When I start again and remove the startmenu and just see the loading and channel. Then it will not freeze.
There is nothing reported in the logfile. any other know this issue. It seems theme related.

HI,.
I was wondering if anyone can help me, I wanted to use the Upcoming Movies widget in my Movies Hub. But it's saying No Information Available. I presume I need an addon to supply the data to it. I've added Trakt, but that didn't seem to work. Any ideas which Addon I should use to make the most out of the widget?
Edit: Looks like It's just that particular Widget not grabbing the information correctly.
Also, can I say how amazing this version is, I loved the original, I've got it on all my boxes and now with the backup and restore feature, they're all identical and recreating them is so much easier (massive thanks for that feature).
The only thing I have issues with is touch devices, can't for the life of me get the menu open to change view types, literally tried every gesture I know to open it.
Any way to add another option in the Context Menu to bring down the options to change views? That would pretty much complete this new advanced version of this amazing skin.

Jurialmunkey, I am trying to find out how to make myself a new home widget for Eminence 2, showing 2 (or more) different things:
for example:
now in cinemas + recommended media
Reading about smart playlists, it should be possible using an OR function. I however, cannot find out where to start.
Could you point me out where to look, or what to do?
Or tell me if this is even possible to make?

Also can this skin be used in Kodi 17? it has must faster zapping time with mpeg streams

Yes please, when oh when is v1 of v2 out? This is for OpenElec (Isengard)... On Github there is not much activity and Isengard Gothub is nothing newer than 3 months...
