Getting the IR remote working with NUC - Enceladus - 2015-09-08 I need a better step-by-step guide to register any of my many remotes to my NUC5CPYH. I am very unclear about how to perform the most basic step of determining if the IR sensor on the NUC is functioning, let alone how to register a remote to the NUC. Here is my setup: Linux Mint 17.2 NUC5CPYH. I updated the BIOS to the latest a few weeks ago. Kodi Yamaha RX-V671 First, how can I tell if the IR sensor on the NUC is functioning? Second, if the IR is functioning, how do I sync the remote to the NUC? Third, is it then necessary to sync the remote to Kodi (so, a total of 2 syncs)? I appreciate any help members can give me.
