Ian struggling with the kodi deb. I have read many walk throughs that say, download the deb, use an iOS singer, select the device from the window menu, click + and then install the file - all i keep getting is "The executable was signed with invalid entitlements".

The way Auntie Player was installed was using the github address and letting Xcode compile it all- i had no problem.

If someone could help me, guide, walk through of where I might be going wrong it would be very much appreciated and i am fully aware that this is and alpha version of the software, just want to give it a spin.

Would it have to be compiled into the deb? Is it just impossible since we can't connect to the apple tv filesystem? I did it with an ipad by dragging the folder over in itunes.

I transferred my modded Quartz skin to my new atv4 by using build in file manager to upload specific folder(s) to my nas share then from there to my ad dons folder on my new atv4

Worked a treat

xcode asks for username/passwd.. what should i place? i tried putting git user/pass it didnt work.

I had earlier downloaded other code MrMc, provenance.. they all have .git file as links and didnt ask for user/pass.

The build I used didn't appear to have it in the menus at all

I had to configure it with the advancedsettings.xml file...

After you run the app you can then go into the Xcode devices window and download the container for kodi, then modify it and replace it with the modified container
