Network Connectivity - tecbox - 2006-12-30
The only way I seem to maintain network connectivity to my XBOX is thru a cross-over cable. I've tried swapping out my cable and using different routers, however connectivity to the XBOX while it's attached to my network is sporadic at best.
None of my other components on the network encounter this type of problem. It would appear that the problem is attributed to my router, however I don't know what settings on my router could cause this problem?
Here is the debug log that I obtained when the FTP service on the XBOX prevented FTP access. I don't see any errors in the log that are related to network connectivity. I was able to connect to the XBOX immediately after a reboot, however after a few minutes FTP access was prevented. Here is the log I obtained after rebooting the XBOX:
