Backup not working for all Skin Settings - Tyler Durden - 2015-09-23
For some reason, when I backup on one system and restore to another (in an attempt to accurately duplicate my Lounge set up in my bedroom) some of my settings do not get copied over.
Specifically, custom Home Menu entries and sub menus that I created on my lounge system are do not appear in the bedroom at all. WHat am I doing wrong? I have all the options selected in the backup app configuration page.
Is there anything I can try?

Read the first post of the backup addon thread. You'll have to kill kodi via SSH, copy over your guisettings, then restart kodi. If you don't, kodi will overwrite the guisettings file.
