Radio channels menu - acinfo64 - 2015-10-16

Dear all,

I have installed Kodi 15.1 and Xonflunce skin.

Now I try to add one radio channel so its in the Radio->Channels menu. But I'm not succeeding after trying a lot.

The channel has an m3u file with stream

Code:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:Radio channel
http://usa7-vn.mixstream.net:8248

a) I can find it in the add-on Radio and play the channel and add it to the favorites.
b) I enabled the IPTV Simple Client and added the link to the file (local on drive) to the "M3U Play list path."

But nothing is working. I can't figure out how channels appear in the Radio->Channels menu.

RE: Radio channels menu - negge - 2015-10-17

1) did you enable live TV from settings?

2) did you check the TV menu instead?

Thank you for your answer.

1) Yes enabled it from System->Setting->TV
2) Yes I checked the channels in the Radio and TV menu but both are completely empty

When I start Kodi I get the message like

1 prv iptv simple client channel added

But it doesn't show it in the channel lists.

I also tried the BBTS which added another IPTV Simple client 2, doens't work either.

I have a feeling your playlist file is incorrectly formatted, please look at other examples on the forum and try again.

Hi if you use the "IPTV Simple Client" be sure that in your list the radio channels are this format:

#EXTINF:-1 radio="true" ,radio 1
http://xxxxxxx

please refer to the add-on wiki: http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:IPTV_Simple_Client

Thanks, that did the trick!

- Changed the format
- Disabled TV
- Cleared the data
- Enabled TV again.

It's not always easy to put all peaces I see together, to get a clear understanding what going on. A great board like this will help. Now I'm going to look how I can record the streams, if possible.

Thanks again!
