OK so I have this thing that's been driving me nuts. When I play a movie and go back home I get the video in the corner and my selected wallpaper panning in the background. That's great and what I love. But for some reason when I play other movies and go back to the home screen everything just goes black and I don't get all the aesthetic goodies. It only happens for certain movies and I can't figure out why. It's a strange behavior. Any ideas?

I can't reproduce....insted of your black multiimage in mine case is Fanart...I try all home "like MQ6" and "likeMQ7"
I have always image maybe your Kodi can't load .jpg from SHS.I had simular problem with slow loading on RasPI.

OK thanks. Could you point me to the portion of code that displays video info overlay while video is playing? Basically the part that shows up while on pause.

All this window have some part when play video.....If you on pause window is DialogSeekBar.xml for overlay

Thanks for your help so far but now for the next question lol where do I go to adjust the video playing in the corner on the home menu? Would like to tinker with the size and position.

Thank you.. So basically what I'm trying to do is build a skin that requires the same type of video in the corner when opening an overlay type situation. I applied the video control to the xml but can't get the video it's self to change in size no matter what width and height I apply. Yes I'm quite a noobie but to learn is to ask questions. What exactly do I need to add and change to make it work correctly? Since you seem to have it figured out quite well and I like how it's done it's only suited I ask of your help. I'm not doing it from scratch and I'm using an addon called pseudo TV .

That's the link to the version I'm attempting to manipulate and suit to my standards. There is a folder called skins with an estuary skin im trying to customize and make fancy. I figured starting with something small rather than a full fledged kodi skin would be of a better starting point. If you could tell me what I need to alter to make it work that would make me happy as could be. Only if it's not a burden on you and or you wish to extend the help. Hello,
ive got some problems with submenu items on MQ6.
Yesterday ive installed Kodi Jarvis on my new H96 Android Box and imported my latest backup. Looks all fine so far, but all my submenu items are "empty". When i try to edit them its not possible. I can edit the main menu items but not the entries for the submenus.
Any idea?
EDIT: I noticed that this error is only when i try to create submenu items for mainmenu items that are using a playlist. I can still edit submenu entries for standard mainmenu items. But iam using smart playlists for my "2D Movies" and "3D Movies".
The only thing i changed was the Android TV Box itself. my old one was using Android 4.x and the new one has Android 7.1 installed. So maybe it has something to do with Android?

I've just installed Krypton now because of some error messages from some Addons in Jarvis. And now i tried your Krypton Mod for MQ6 but most view types are not working. They show nothing?

Have updates, but for Leia version....
Krypton is Past....I stop updating krypton when realise Kodi v18 "Leia" nightly.

Yes you can use .... but you need some xml to use from krypton version.
