VU Solo 2 PVR Nightmare - innercalm - 2015-11-23 Hello, I've posted this question everywhere but nobody appears to be able to tell me what's wrong. Basically I am running the VU/Enigma PVR Client on Kodi, but the live picture always stutters, on every channel. If I record the same program and play it back, it is always perfect. So I'm sure it's a wifi problem or a video playback setting somewhere but I can't find it. At one point I went to settings-videos-acceleration and disabled amcodec and the picture ran smoothly, but it's gone back to not working again now. It's not my internet speed, that's 30meg. This is a fairly recent phenomenon which only started about 2/3 weeks ago when I upgraded to the latest version of Kodi. Any help much appreciated, I will try anything to get this working properly - I've done factory resets etc. (One thing I forgot to mention - the live picture buffer never goes above 15%) thank you. RE: VU Solo 2 PVR Nightmare - RockerC - 2015-11-23 Try testing increasing, lower, or even removing the video cache level video via a advancedsettings.xml file, someone has probabably posted something about how to do buffer tuning in the Enigma subforum: http://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=226 http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=159142 http://kodi.wiki/view/Advancedsettings.xml Another tip is to test the latest beta release of Kodi 16 (Jarvis). Otherwise I have ni idea as I don't have any issues myself with the standard default settings. RE: VU Solo 2 PVR Nightmare - innercalm - 2015-11-23 Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure I'm up to doing what you say above but I'll give it a try for sure. RE: VU Solo 2 PVR Nightmare - Raitsa - 2015-11-23 I dont think VU/Enigma PVR Client works on Jarvis or Openelec/Jarvis, on Isengard it works great. RE: VU Solo 2 PVR Nightmare - innercalm - 2015-11-23 I don't even need a tv guide or anything, all I want to do is watch that live stream from the VU SOLO player, it was so much easier with the magic eye :-) |
