Tested True-HD from Minions ISO and audio seems fine. A sample file that shows audio problems would be useful. Just had a look and it seems okay. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - Milhouse - 2016-02-07 Yes, still a problem. However I've been testing this over smb:// (Windows 7 PC), and I've just tried it over nfs:// where it played normally - so this might be an smb:// issue... hmmm. OK just went and checked again.. basically most 3D iso files play just a black screen, KODI GUI is present, AVR switches to correct audio mode but i get silence. GUI counter shows it playings normally. stopping the playback occasionally shows a TAB GUI before switching back to the normal output on the menu. once or twice my TV kept switching from 3d to 2d and back all while on the blank playback this is with omx player. UPDATE MMAL seems to be fine for all playback, audio issues were fixed by switching channels back to 2.0 and enabling dd transcoding. TrueHD works good as 5.1 DD for me now again at least with mmal. omx player still gives no 3d iso playback. And presumably you are using passthrough? Milhouse, I thought passthrough was on but found it was disabled. After re-enabling, the DTS audio came through fine in the Despicable Me 2 3D ISO one time. Now I'm getting just a blank screen and no sound when trying to play it (logs uploaded to http://xbmclogs.com/pzcy6bnlp). I toggled passthrough to try to reproduce the successful test but can only get the blank screen/no audio result. This is with #205 still in place, and the Christmas Carol 3D ISO I was comparing with is still working normally. Thanks for your time, Milhouse. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - Caramba69 - 2016-02-08 3D isos are played back in 2D only in the last 2 builds. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - ruser - 2016-02-08 Hello, I'd like to request some small changes and additions to the Backup system in order to enhance the user experience and make the whole process less tedious. "Backup-script" addon does not restore everything, so I would prefer to use native functions. 1) Add a "Target path" option in order to allow Kodi to backup onto anything else beside local storage (in my case it's a cramped SD-card, so it's only logical to be able to store it via local network at shared disk) 2) Add a "Backup" pictogram (icon) to program menu (instead of searching for it thru the whole system menu), that would invoke a prompt "Create new backup or restore one of the previous?". 3) If user chooses "Restore", instead of opening the filesystem, an interface could show a simple list of available backups from "target path" (in "date time filesize" manner) along with "More..." button which would invoke the filesystem dialog. P.S. 4) Sometimes there's a need to restart Kodi without the rest of OS. Please add another item to the Shutdown menu: "Restart shell (Kodi)" or "Fast reboot" RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - dukester - 2016-02-08 (2016-02-08, 11:25)Caramba69 Wrote: 3D isos are played back in 2D only in the last 2 builds. Videoplayer for On stranger tides 3d iso gives me no 3d and 100% cpu also. Do you need a log?? Is any of this information helpful? The backup script add on has options to backup more stuff than just the default selections and does everything you mentioned in your post. I backup to an smb share. If I use restore I have options to pick by date all the backup I made. |
