Is it possible to compile an OE 6.0.1 build but adding the new firmware changes? Could you tell me how? I wouldn't recommend compiling OpenELEC just to update your firmware but if this is what you want to do then simply build OpenELEC normally as per the OpenELEC Wiki instructions but update the bcm2835-driver package beforehand. If you want updated firmware then what I would suggest you do is copy the latest firmware to /flash while using the official 6.0.1 installation. Edit: Ninja'd by popcornmix... I really appreciate your amazing work. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - MikeKL - 2016-02-18 Been noticing issues with last few builds (from approx #0206 not sure) and iPlayer WWW add-on catch-up playback, here is a debug log with latest build #0217 http://sprunge.us/TINj Essentially I commence any catch-up playback, with either an Akami or Limelight streams at low streaming levels (1.5mbps) and video playback pauses almost immediately at intial streamed playback, then pauses whilst filling buffer before stuttering with both Video and Audio after a few seconds of recommenced playback. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - Milhouse - 2016-02-19 New OpenELEC Krypton build #0218: RPi / RPi2 (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of OpenELEC master (4bfc99d6, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (a85b492f, changelog) with the following modifications:

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - whiffyfuzzball - 2016-02-19 Hi, just updated from 16 to 17 and noticed this old warning has come back - I use a shared MySQL DB on my NAS which is an old 5.x version and can't be updated. Can I safely ignore it? Thank you I cannot seem to find that setting under system/settings/audio RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - doldi - 2016-02-19 Hello popcornmix and milhouse, build #0217 and #0218 make a good job with audioDTS-CD also with DVD's in multichannel. But sometime i have to fight with a "not-seeing" cursor after klich to a file. Tested on 2 sdcards with both builds. If i set VideoOutput to 1920x1080p and would play some DTS-file i can't handle my Pi2 - must reboot over putty or wait one-two-three minutes. Setting on desktop playing starts faster but not immediately. ...is a logfile necessary? THX Harald RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - doldi - 2016-02-19 @nb2a: "I cannot seem to find that setting under system/settings/audio" System/Audio output/Pll adjustment Settings "EXPERT" in left corner (at the bottom) ? btw: ohh - i amseeing, that Master and Settings on me are both dyed, if i wont to click ;-) |
