madVR v0.91.0

* added new NGU (Next Generation Upscaling) algorithm
* added "soften edges" + "add grain" upscaling refinements (atm only for NGU)
* display properties can now also be profiled

Set everything to NGU under image upscaling.

I know Madshi changed a lot in 91.3, and your guide is more than just settings and requires some heavy editing.

What about a new thread with just the setting recommendations for 1080p and 2160p TVs?

I've always appreciated your guides (madvr, external player, DSplayer) as they've been very helpful.

I've always appreciated your guides (madvr, external player, DSplayer) as they've been very helpful.

I'm still dedicated to updating this guide.

Soon life may become too busy, but not today. Weekly or monthly edits are still possible. Just not today.

These are the files I want to if these settings will support.
Hevc h.265
4K HDR 10bits
Dolby Vision 12 bits
3D MVC
3D SBS

If anyone know of a good youtube tutorial please provide.

4K HDR - also playable if you have a new graphics card.

Dolby Vision - madVR does not support Dolby Vision.

3D MVC - supported by madVR/LAV Filters

3D SBS - madVR does not support SBS.

This whole thread is a tutorial. It should teach you most of what you need to know.

After you set up MPC-HC or DSPlayer, play your 4K videos. It is as simple as that.

Sorry for my ignorance just don't know when to start, the thread leads me a different site with more information and so on, all I need is to set Kodi up to play HDR files and 3D MVC with support with all the Audio format.
