Are your videos shown in 4K or 1080p ? - Koying - 2016-02-26

Here is a test file to find out whether your videos are shown in 4K or are downscaled/upscaled: http://www.semperpax.be/owncloud/index.php/s/4a4a721775d14bd2f946bb2d37d80095

Look at the highlighted section on your screen.

If the purple text is legible, like:
Image
You have true 4K playback.

If it looks garbled like:
Image
The video was downscaled somewhere in the playback chain.

Look at the highlighted section at the bottom right.
(View images at full resolution)

If it looks crisp like:

You have true 1080p playback.

If it looks blurred like:
Image
It's upscaled 720p.
