But the automatic update will only install 12.0.0.
I had to install 12.0.1 manually using the ZIP file.

Can somebody confirm that the Spotify connect function is not working at Kodi v19 RC with latest version 1.2.0 from ldsz (from Here)? That is the only thing that not work for me.

I can confirm that its not working correct. I can see my playlists and my account, but its not playing the files...

what happens is that the music doesn't play until the end. it hangs at a certain time and moves to the next song in the playlist. is there anything that can be done?
Usually stops with 3 minutes.

well - hopefully there will be a working Spotify addon in kodi matrix soon
..in the meantime..
if you are using an Android device to connect to Spotify for kodi
then there is an alternative way to play spotify songs in kodi.
You need a cheap app called "HiFy - Airplay + DLNA für Spotify"
it uses Airplay or DLNA which is part of kodi without addons
I do not have any relation to the developer, but this litle app is simply working..

so, you start with android and linux go on with windows and we on the raspy sit back and wait and wait and wait. I have a RP4b and there is no built because of the beautiful-soup dependency still not being on python 3.X. I use a nightly built and here runs perfectly Netflix, YT, Amazon VOD and I need this update for Matrix on the Raspi 4 ASAP. Does someone know how long it will take until we get some repository addon by marcelveldt?

Marcelveldt do not work on Kodi anymore. For Matrix use my linked version from ldsz.
