I can't even install it on my pi with libreelec and krypton alpha 3. Tried the same on a Windows and nothing is happening as well. Got the addon out of superrepo. What can I do? On Jarvis it works pretty good on the pc.

There might be another error causing it to fail. Can you please provide me a full kodi debug log when you try to playback a track from the spotify addon ?

First of all, I didn't place it on superrepo so I don't know who did. What's the version number ?
Secondly I'm investigating the issue. there was a fix created once but it doens't seem to cover all scenario's so there might also be another issue in the addon itself.
I'll take a look at it tonight.

Sure... if I observed this correctly, before the update the track did not even show up in the play queue. It now does but playback fails.

Just stumbled upon this page while looking for practical examples on how to interface with the Spotify API. Instead of building an add-on myself I figured your solution was worth a try, and I can only say I'm pleasantly surprised with the result! You did a wonderful job on this plugin, chapeau! I'm running OpenELEC 6.95.3 (which incorporates Kodi 16.1) and teamed it up with your latest add-on and it's working flawlessly, so I just wanted the time to say "THANK YOU"!!

However it's not playing any tracks in my current Kodi installation (Kodi 17.0-BETA4 Git:20161024, Ubuntu 16.04).
