We'll have to wait for Koying to comment, but that was the idea behind involving him. To retain HDR, Dolby Vision and the HiSilicon Imprex controls, what might work best is SPMC and videoplayer controls overlayed on the native player... similar to what Zidoo did w/X6 and HiMedia w/H8.

For now, Q10 Pro... need to see what Intel offers with Kaby Lake. HDMI 2.0 with 10-bit 4K and 60fps fairly certain, but HDR unknown. And, no talk of Kodi supporting it ... see here. In fact, @wesk05 called you out in his post

I am worried
is it possible that my receiver pioneer SC-81 2015 (HDMI 2 / 4k 60fps / but not hdcp 2.2) is not compatible with 10 bit signal
when my Q10 pro is connected directly to the TV I can select all options from video color space & hdmi deep color (8 and 10bit) but when the Q10 pro is connected to my receiver i can not choose the 10bit, only 8bit.
