I have some questions about the Q10:

1) Is it possible to connect multiple hard drives to it? (I currently use a Mediasonic 4 bay enclosure on my Dune Base 3.0 player)
2) How many Hard drives can you mount at once?
3) Is there a way to transfer movies over to externally attached hard drives WITHOUT disconnecting the player from the TV? Either through the network or by copying movies onto USB drives and then copying them onto the drives connected to the Q10. Disconnecting the player itself is a complete deal-breaker for me. Far too much of a hassle for 2016.

I think the answer is yes on both counts. I don't remember when I tried, but I know that connected USB drives are writable

Im still unsure whether to go for this Q10 device or the Zidoo X9S, to replace my nVidia Shield. Im finding it a hard decision to make.

Can someone please tell me if i do get the Q10 and i use Kodi, can i copy over my complete configuration including skin layout (confluence) from my nvidia shield device? Im using latest version of SPMC on the shield.

Thanks.

You can copy your configuration to either. W/HiMedia, any version of Kodi is fine (16 or 17). For Zidoo, their fork ZDMC is based on 16 (same as SPMC).

Excellent thank you!

I plan to buy a Q10 Pro. Can a laptop HDD be fitted inside it? I cannot seem to find that information anywhere.

@tmihai20 I've installed a 2.5" SSD and it works fine.

Thank you so much. Now I know what I have to do Big Grin

Edit (so I don't post too much): I have a 1 TB HDD from an external USB HDD and I would like to use it inside the box.

Thought you sent your Q10 back? ;-)

I did. But if they manage to get the clock reversible to show time remaining on a movie I'll be interested again. That's a big feature for me.

The Q10 Pro seems to be better than the Beelink Big Grin I know you told me so, but it is. I have 2 big issues that bother me. I use a All in One Microsoft keyboard with touchpad. I cannot seem to be able to use the arrows properly, it just navigates on the letters from the onscreen keyboard. The other would be that there is a lot of lag using the touchpad, is it because of interferences from WiFi?
