RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - rbmcgee - 2019-03-24 Is the 3d mvc capability found in the branch linked to earlier in the thread (that works great) ever going to be incorporated into the standard kodi? I got 3D MVC working with Intel 6577 drivers a couple of weeks ago. Suddenly, 3D stopped working. There are a few possible reasons, but I reckon Windows changed somehow. I did a fresh Windows installation and still cannot get 3D working. Possible other reasons are change of Optoma UHD51 firmware and AVR (Yamaha -> Denon AVR-X550BT). Unlikely reasons, because 3D works fine with my laptop (ThinkPad T460s). Anyone having same problems? The NUC has HDMI 2.0x output and the T460s has an HDMI 1.3/1.4 output? Well, I put the blame on the receiver. What type of Yamaha that was? Edit: I think I got it, Yamaha HTR-3067? This one has HDMI 1.4 ports and that gives you the benefit for Hardware 3D I guess. Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - fmedrano1977 - 2019-04-03 What I'm seeing is, as long as there is an HDMI 1.4 in your chain the 3D will work with that NUC. Not one has ever gotten 3D to work with HDMI 2.0 on that NUC. Not one has ever gotten 3D to work with HDMI 2.0 on that NUC. Yes, 3D works with Yamaha and not with Denon. Optoma has an option to configure the HDMI inputs either 1.4 or 2.0. However, changing to 1.4 did not work with Denon. I got 3D working with Denon using HDMI splitter 1.4. This could work with 2.0 displays. Quite cheap solution, if it works. https://www.ebay.de/itm/1x2-HDMI-Splitter-1to2-ver1-4-HDMI-3D-Support-1080P-HD-HDTV-EU-Plug-MA/202634715123?hash=item2f2df85ff3:g:gBYAAOSwmxVcmCIk RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - Morpog - 2019-04-07 Hey @afedchin , I tried building your latest commits from 1st April but it exits with an error. First I thought because of missing up-to-date doxygen and dot, but getting those didn't help. It seems cmake tries to add a directory in a directory which is already used. Deleting kodi-build didn't help. Quote:CMake Error at cmake/scripts/common/Macros.cmake:529 (add_subdirectory):Could be those 2 files both referencing DRM the issue? C:\Users\Stephan\kodi\cmake\treedata\common\drm.txt and media.txt Edit: I edited media.txt to: xbmc/media/drm media-drm Now it started building, but not sure if that was the correct way to fix it. Edit2: After watching closely the directories, I changed it again to: xbmc/media/drm media/drm RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - Morpog - 2019-04-07 Uploaded KodiSetup-v18.2-RC1-x64-MVC-WIP2 to the link in 1st post. Not yet tested. What does the "WIP2" refer to? I've searched but not found anything. RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - Jutzi - 2019-04-10 Here is a discussion about subtitle position setting in Kodi: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=302547&pid=2844083#pid2844083 It says: "In the settings>video>subtitle>subtitle position on screen>fixed. Play the video with subs, enter the video OSD then set offset to 1020, so 60 pixels from bottom of a full screen video. exit ensure the subs look good, re-enter the OSD video and set as default for all media." I cannot see any offset setting in the video OSD in the MVC build. Should it be there? Just a made up number by me, as it was build later but main version stayed same. RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - Jutzi - 2019-04-12 Is there an easy way to find 3D movies from the movie library? Like picture quality under Categories (3D, 4K, 1080 HD ...). RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - hdmkv - 2019-04-12 You can add .3D to your movie title. I also use NFO files using tinyMediaManager, which ensures metadata, posters & fanart all appear exactly as desired. "Replace file names with library titles" selection in either position does not change anything. |
