If so, something is really messed up. Like I said, I have several computers with wired connections set to metered and it won't even download updates to Windows Defender. The only other thing I have set is to disallow grabbing updates from local computers. The issue is the 1903 update. That is what has FUBAR'd everything. Wish Windows could leave things well enough alone to not mess people's systems up. Need to full fresh installs and prevent updates to 1903. Back to playing the "don't let Windows do Windows things" game again. This will stop downloading feature upgrades. Also download the „wushowhide.diagcab“ file from Microsoft to hide specific updates for the future. Break MVC MKV playback and requires reinstalling the working MVC MKV Intel driver and restarting then correcting Kodi audio settings. So very annoying. Are you saying that setting your connection to metered isn't preventing it, either? If so, something is really messed up. Like I said, I have several computers with wired connections set to metered and it won't even download updates to Windows Defender. No, all you're doing is going to SETTINGS->STATUS->CHANGE CONNECTION PROPERTIES and changing your connections SET AS METERED CONNECTION option to ON. Done. RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - Skirge01 - 2019-11-25 UPDATE: I figured out how to get the addon installed! I installed Kodi on another computer, saved the pvr.hts folder as a zip file, and then used the install from zip option in the addons section. Viola! ORIGINAL ISSUE: Quote:Is anyone using TVheadend with the 17.6 3D MVC release? I can't get that PVR to show up in the addons. I've uninstalled and reinstalled countless times and it simply doesn't appear. As a test, I removed a couple other PVRs during install and they disappeared. Then, I reinstalled and added those back and they reappeared. I tried the same with TVheadend, but no change. I also redownloaded the installer from page 1, just to be sure my previous one wasn't corrupted. RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - ZZZ76 - 2019-11-28 Do you plan to release kodi 18.5 or 18.6 3dmvc? RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - adz7 - 2019-11-28 Anyone able to give me some hardware pointers? With Black Friday sales on I’m looking to upgrade my 5 year old Celeron to an Intel NUC like a Gen 8 and would like to get one that would support pass through for at least Atmos, 10bit and 4K. Not sure if any NUCs can do this or whether I would need to wait for Gen 9 NUCs? RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - Odell - 2019-12-02 Hello everyone, I would like some recommendation for HTPC or Barebone to play 3D MVC natively from Kodi and Google Drive add-on for less than 500 euros. Thanks RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - Skirge01 - 2019-12-28 (2019-12-02, 21:58)Odell Wrote: Hello everyone, I would like some recommendation for HTPC or Barebone to play 3D MVC natively from Kodi and Google Drive add-on for less than 500 euros. ThanksI'm also wondering. Based on what's on the first page, it would seem that a 6th gen NUC is the newest we could use from that line because HDMI 2.0 isn't functional yet. Outside of NUCs, I'm at a loss as to what's really recommended because of how old that spreadsheet is. I'm currently running a NUC D54250WYK with the latest drivers provided through Driver Booster because I couldn't get the recommended drivers from the spreadsheet to install. I kept receiving a message that they aren't compatible with my NUC. If anyone has them working under W10, I'd be interested in hearing how you got them installed. I know we're around the holidays, but I'm also wondering if work is still going on with this project. RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - fritsch - 2019-12-31 You can rebase that yourself easily on Kodi's Leia branch - not much has changed. I just did it just for fun. One minor hunk in AdvancedSettings.cpp and one in DXVAHD.cpp RE: Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - 360° - 2020-01-19 (2016-03-28, 15:28)hdmkv Wrote: Important Points about Compatible Hardware:did anyone test out the rather new NUC8i5INH/ NUC8i7INH ? (USB-C to HDMI adapter cable required) So if you want to use 4K/ HDCP 2.2 and MVC/S3D, you have to change the video output depending on the content, unless you get a separate solution for 4k streaming. |
