RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - DjDiabolik - 2017-12-09 I don't know because there's append........ i don't touch nothings on my current config of kodi and from about two or three days my Pi2 whit latest osmc i have some problems on youtube live streaming. I have updated my addons to latest alpha13...... about two or three days ago when a live streaming it's reproduction i see the cache seconds it's about 7 or 8 seconds. From today the cache seconds it's drop to 1 or 2 seconds and i obtain so many drop connection. I doesn't touch nothigs on my kodi configuration...... i have also made some internet connection test from my Pi2 setup (used so many differer addons) and the result's it's ever better to 18Mbps................ very strange. I have also tryed to do some "google" search but there's only a confusion obtain..... only releated thread to the "advancedsettings.xml".................... RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - anxdpanic - 2017-12-09 @Steph09 Not currently @wagnumpi @peterdejong In inputstream.adaptive settings, Stream Selection : Auto Ignore Display Resolution: True Min Bandwidth: Adjust until achieving desired resolutions. 10000000~30000000 seems to work for most I've tried. @DjDiabolik As far as I know Kodi only has an 8 second buffer for hls/live content. Could be something on YouTube/ISP side other than that I don't know of anything that could be done in Kodi or add-on to resolve. Using inputstream.adaptive may improve things. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - musicadi - 2017-12-10 @anxdpanic I'm experiencing a weird issues. I'm starting a video, but nothing happens, although I can see the play counter running on the top of the screen (as if the video player had been minimized) Here is the debug log. http://sprunge.us/ORMb My setup: Hardware: Wetek Core OS: LibreELEC 8.2.1 Skin: Amber (happens with Estuary skin also) Youtube Addon 5.4.5 RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - mysteron09 - 2017-12-11 Getting a "Daily Limit Exceeded" error - haven't seen this for a long time. Would the fix used for the previous occurrences of this be still applicable e.g. Getting personal API keys, or will an update be coming? RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - jmh2002 - 2017-12-11 Quote:Getting a "Daily Limit Exceeded" error - haven't seen this for a long time.Yes, please see the following from the FAQ in Post #3 on Page #1 here: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=267160&pid=2299963#pid2299963, as well as the Personal API Instructions in Post #2 on the same page. * PERSONAL API KEYS - EXTRA INFO * Why do I get "Daily Limit Quota Exceeded" Errors when I try to use the YouTube addon? If you are referring to accessing the youtube activate page, use another computer that DOES have a browser, RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - musicadi - 2017-12-11 (2017-12-10, 19:02)musicadi Wrote: @anxdpanic P.S. It seems to be related to the audio codec used. The "video" I'm trying to play actually only has audio. It plays well on my laptop. Here is one of them: https://youtu.be/2rBr68kP63o RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - DjDiabolik - 2017-12-11 (2017-12-09, 23:10)anxdpanic Wrote: @Steph09 Not currentlyFor inputstream..... i still wait for an update whit latest version included on osmc. At today the current version it's not really stable...... RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - anxdpanic - 2017-12-11 @musicadi The video you're playing is actually 360p (mp4;h.264 / aac@96) which shouldn't be an issue for Kodi, and are working(all black screen with seekbar and audio playing) on my Windows and OSMC installs. If you set the add-on to "Always ask for video quality" you can try the other audo/video codec and bitrate options. Similar to @DjDiabolik's issue, once we start playback there isn't much we can do unless we're passing something unsupported to Kodi which doesn't appear to be the case. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - skepguy - 2017-12-13 Help me I'm signed in and can't watch age restricted content RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - Bekar - 2017-12-14 Hi, Having an issue I can't seem to resolve with the Youtube addon (5.4.5) on OSX. Installed the plugin, ran through did the two API keys, hit "My Subscriptions", picked a video at random (something I know works as I watched it earlier on a different computer) and it failed. At first I thought it was a proxy error so disabled the proxy, but the problem persisted. The plugin correctly gets the "My Subscriptions" content, just not any thumbnails or video streams. After finding the log, some errors. Code: 22:14:11.536 T:123145303990272 ERROR: CCurlFile::Open failed with code 0 for https://i.ytimg.com/vi/HJn9rSzAKEE/hqdefault.jpg Debug log for the same set of actions (namely, out of the system settings menu, into video addons and hitting play on a video item; log available here). Using the CLI curl on the OSX box on any of those URL's returns the expected data stream. Some quick python to test the python call that I could see happening: Code: bekar:~ bekar$ export PYTHONPATH="Library/Application Support/Kodi/addons/script.module.requests/lib" This suggests that python its self isn't having the issue, but by the same token I don't think that's the right function call to test. Anyway, any thoughts on what to try next? Am I just missing something obvious? I'll try pulling the alpha from github next. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - anxdpanic - 2017-12-14 This seems like an issue beyond the scope of the add-on. The loading of thumbnails is handled by Kodi (we just pass the url) and the thumbnail urls are valid, your test and opening it in browser confirms that. I'd be looking at general, and Kodi connectivity outside of the add-on. Partial log doesn't show enough to make any further guesses. |
