Synopis have you tried switching back to the default Estuary skin, does the problem still exist?
Doesn't come up with the default skin.
- Are your images locally source or from the internet?
- Are these live tv shows or shows you've recorded?
On the show information page (not extended info) do you see the Refresh link/button?
When you click on this it will either tell you that images are found locally and do you wish to keep them or get images from fanart online, it will then proceed with a refresh, you've probably done this already but it's impossible to know everything one has tried.

I think Synopis is talking about the thumbnail rather than the background, these are only shown for the episode view, Posters are shown for the seasons.

I used whatever was the default first. I had to actually completely reinstall kodi since I was having some other problem. Right now every image is saved locally and it's still not changing.

I honestly don't see how. I explained the best I can and gave screen shots. https://i.imgur.com/qX5wSff.png Here's a screenshot that is literally pointing it out. The bottom arrow is supposed to be the top arrow and changing it doesn't work

It should be something with your kodi installation (addon, setting, ...) and not something with the MOD

It should be something with your kodi installation (addon, setting, ...) and not something with the MOD
Reinstalled everything. Default's perfectly fine.

No it's working fine. At the bottom if Thumbnail 16x9 is find it show it, if not it show fanart.
On your picture at the bottom you have thumbnail not a fanart.

Not sure this is the right place and I should probably get a screen shot when I go home to show all my settings, but when I try and customize my widgets for TV, I wanted to display only recent channels, and show the next upcoming recordings my PVR is going to record. When ever i make any custom changes to the TV widgets, when i go to the home screen it displays the headings and then it disappears.
Only thing that works is the preconfigured widget but that is almost what i want minus the recently recorded. I use comskip and currently its not supported for the PVR playback and i need to watch my recent recordings through files.
Any ideas?

You are aware that little thumbnail does change. Here's the exact same view with a different thumbnail with the default skin https://i.imgur.com/AwHpth3.png. Here's another one with the default skin http://i.imgur.com/RQNtkaV.png. Again it does not work at all with this skin as it has before.
