@Guilouz: The issue might be related to the changes I pushed a while back when banned add-on did not supported Kodi 17

I change MyVideoNav.xml myself and removed line 4 and 5.
Seems to be the case, that you can remove them. Music is still played.
However I still see the same effect as reported. Once the music starts playing, the Background Fanart is not shown anymore.
Tested with Standard Estuary V2 also. It working fine there.
I'll push a changed file to Git, but would appreciate if you could check for the fan art issue

After I updated my 2015 Nvidia Shield from 3.3 to 5.0.2, when I open the latest KODI 18 nightlies I get the following message:
However, KODI works fine but this message means something.
Any clues?

For this "xxxx addon" the music is supposedly to be played only when you click on a Tv shows and enter the "Season Menu" or the "Episodes Menu if only one season" , it is not supposed to be played when you highlight a Tv Show from the Tv Shows Section because it slow down a lot your navigation through all your shows. However, it's a option that you can activate in the addon setting but even when set to OFF (default) it's like it is set to ON.

I have one question: When I switch on/off subtitles while playing a movie I get no response/display for that action. So I can't see, whether the command was successful (I'm using an IR remote control) or if there are any subtitles at all... Is it possible to show a short message, e.g. "Subtitles ON" / "Subtitles OFF" / "No subtitles available" to see the actual state?

Yes, that behavior is due to some changes I made back in June 2016. At this point Kodi17 was not supported and no music was played at all.
This workaround is not needed anymore and I already removed the workaround and pushed the changes to the mod. I believe, that Guilouz will include them in the next release. However, there is still the issue of not showing fan art while playing sound.
