I checked and there is no directory script.skinshortcuts or a mainmenu.DATA.xml file.
However there is script.skinshortcuts folder in addons. So it is instaled. But it did not write in the userdata it seems. How to fix that?

Could you check what is the number version of your skinshortcut addon?

If you're using the default widgets, you can't reorder them. The GUI let's you think you can reorder them, but, as you have found, once you go back to the main menu they get put back.

Is there a way to change the TVDB rating shown in the TV Show section (for the entire Show so not the episode) to IMDB ratings? I scrape my TV Show ratings from IMDB instead of TVDB.

If you are using the TVDB scrapper, there is an option for that:
Then you may also have to uncheck this setting:
(never tried so do not know what will be the exact result)

When I update Kodi to Krypton 17.0 (on Windows) and I want to install the Estuary Mod, is it OK now that I install the final release instead of the nightly build ?

When trying to install Skin Helper Service Widgets I get dependicy error on addon called simplecache. Since this prevents me from installing the - Skin Helper Service Widget is that the reason the ratings won't show?

Did you install marcelveldt's repo from link in the OP? (think it is needed to grab all dependencies)
