i have an audio problem.
With my Zotac ci520 Intel Core i3-4020Y there is no DTS passthrough, only DD51.
With my Zotac ci321 Intel 2961Y there is no problem with DTS.

I used build #1008.
Not entirely sure why that should be, can you provide a debug log (as described in note #9 of the first post)?

Which is the last build with working DTS on the ci520?

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0) - Superbert - 2016-10-09

That is the problem, i don´t exatly know this.
The last build i remember was le 7.0.2
I will test your build out and post the results.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0) - Superbert - 2016-10-09

So, i tested from #0801 on. No one of the versions can play dts on my ci520.

Good, at least it's not a kernel 4.8.x issue.

There's plenty more builds available, keep scrolling down. You could also try an official release build, eg. 7.0.2, and see if that works for you - if that doesn't work then it's either a core bug (debug log please), your hardware doesn't support it (debug log please) or something else fundamentally wrong (debug log please).

Are you sure everything is configured identically to your ci321? Same audio/video/system settings, AVR/TV hardware etc.?

The debug log might help.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0) - Superbert - 2016-10-10

I tested 7.0.2. DTS works.
The ci520 is identically configured to the ci321.

edit: i also tested it with the first build #416...no dts

7.0.2 dates from 28 June 2016 and uses the 4.4.13 kernel with Kodi 16.1.

The closest equivalent of these test builds would be #0416 (4.4.7 kernel) although even that is based on Kodi 17 Alpha1.

Knowing the build when your DTS "broke" would provide some clue where to look. As would the debug log from #1009.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0) - Superbert - 2016-10-10

sorry for my edit...
Exactly from the first version #416 DTS broke on ci520.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0) - Milhouse - 2016-10-10

Debug log, or no problem.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0) - nuc-LE - 2016-10-10

with #1009 for me at the end of the video just stops at the last frame instead of closing it and going to library. #1008 works as expected.
debug: http://sprunge.us/XgAR
thank you

Most likely sync playback related as always.

here is the debug log with

#1008

Thanks, I can reproduce on LibreELEC #1009 with NUC and ION2 and latest Kodi master on Ubuntu with Radeon (but not on RPi with either OMX or MMAL): play a video (in my case 720p h264, DD2.0, no passthrough, 1:36:08 long), seek to 1:36:00 and wait for the video to play out - it hangs at the end.

It seems to be due to PR10668 - without this PR there is no hang. Will post a comment on github.

Edit: This issue should be fixed in the next build.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0) - pacoma2610 - 2016-10-10

Use # 1009

There are problems with the Seeking, the Seeking is finished according to the display and then the video jumps to the right place, and then is played in the slowmotion mode for a few seconds, likewise loses Kodi partly with the Seeding the sound and the video must first stop and again to be started
