RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17.0) - Tequilla9 - 2016-06-12

@fritsch: What do you mean with "Discon method needs some hysteresis." Will there be a fix for that or do I missunderstand something?

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17.0) - nuc-LE - 2016-06-12

@ fritsch, with latest #0611 or any other build since you looked at my log 2 weeks a go I am still having dropped frames with 29.970 content.

Here is the log with a video played from local storage, passtrough enabled and refresh match video. debug log

Here is same file played Sync Playback to display and passthrough disabled and not a single frame dropped. log

Is there any news on this issue for me fritsch ?
thanks

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17.0) - fritsch - 2016-06-12

No - don't use passthrough.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17.0) - nuc-LE - 2016-06-12

Thank you. Will do that.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17.0) - _Spook_ - 2016-06-12

A little off-topic. I translated all the missing Norwegian stuff. Will that be in the next build or does it not sync the translation stuff that often?

Thanks - should be fixed now, the "Generic" config file was missing on the server.

If i post a debug log later would someone be kind enough to have a look what the hell is causing my buffering issue with tvheadend Sad it i driving me crazy for months! and i simply cannot spot the problem!

HD content suffers the worse... the buffer value falls picture breaks up then settles for another 3-5 mins then repeats... and sometimes SD content we get a few seconds of buffering then settles for hours.

All other network content high bitrate plays fine.

The reason I want to check if its ok is because i did not seem to get this issue on jarvis so i guess this is probably as good a thread as any? or would mods prefer i hit the tvheadend section as i am running milhouse 611 tvheadend!

Best thing to do is try different builds until you find the one with the problem.

boiled it down slightly... it id related to htsp protocol... as content i play that is recorded is 'passthrough' and plays fine... so i just need to check old client with new server then old + old

will report back!
