RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17.0) - Raitsa - 2016-06-20 Hey guys, I know you must be tired of answering this stuff but here I go in desperation: I am using the latest Milhouse from this very thread on my 3 NUCs (5CPYH). I have forgotten how to achieve smooth video playback, now its jerky. How should the video (and audio) setup be set up? I got a 7.1 setup with Denon avr-x1100w. Projector is a Sony VPL-HW55ES. I have tried to search the forum for the specific instructions but have come up empty so far. If it was forgotten could it be added back to future nightlies? It was removed because it needs to be rebased (ie. it's not currently building on top of current master). If/when it is rebased I'll re-include it. Edit: Looks like there's been some progress on rebasing but I've been out of the loop most of the day so it won't be in tonight's build Edit2: Nope, still doesn't build. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17.0) - Milhouse - 2016-06-20 New LibreELEC.tv Krypton build #0620: Generic (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of LibreELEC.tv master (c6c222dc, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (e8e6c2a8, changelog) with the following modifications:

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17.0) - forkless - 2016-06-21 Libreelec does not seem to recover from the ACPI S1 state. Current build: devel-20160615222808-#0615-g820ca7d (PS. It has been doing this on all Alpha releases for Kodi 17) Hardware platform: Xtreamer Ultra II I updated to the last nights nightly #620, still no change. Just a stuck at a cursor and SSH (Network interface/machine) is non-responsive. It's not a Kodi related issue, but a LibreElec one. It works just fine on an OpenElec build compiled from source, However (one of) the developers asked me to post LibreElec related queries for Kodi 17 in this particular thread because they only support the stable version of LibreElec there. Which is fine, I can all understand that but I would like to know where to report a bug whether it is a stable release or not, or do you suggest people give up reporting on in development releases? TLDR: Not seeking for Kodi support, reporting a LibreElec issue here per request of their developers. It works by luck or it does not work. This is the right place to report issues with these test builds, the problem is that you were reporting an issue on the LE forum while using one of these test builds which are not supported on the LE forum. If you'd not posted details from these builds I wouldn't have asked you to post here. Now that it's reported here, the support for suspend does appear to be somewhat hit & miss. I guess there's a number of factors to take into consideration - BIOS, kernel, drivers etc. - most of which are outside of LE's control, particularly BIOS. You could go back through the builds and identify which is the last to suspend/resume normally, chances are it broke with a new kernel. Interesting that you say it works with OE compiled from source - is this current OE master (based on 4.6-rc6 kernel) or something older? No Problem on Intel NUC Hardware because it can boot from IR but Chromebox not. |
