when i install the new plugin I got a couldn't connect to the network error so I enabled debug logging and restarted and tried again but it connected this time but still no video play back on the xbox

http://pastebin.com/mf18ddf7

so the only real difference from the last log is I'm using the new pugin the new TC3H build and the Focus skin

has any one else tested on xbox as I haven't done a fresh install for a wile so the problem could be that a freshly installed TC3H may work

I really wish I didn't have soft mod with a large HD Sad

The XBOX T3CH builds still don't have RTMP support yet. The bit in the log where it says "msg: use standard file for protocol:rtmp" is the giveaway.

But ta for the log, reminded me I forgot to remove a print which causes all that HTML output!

johnsto...

Is this new plugin uisng the new iplayer website? If so would it be possible to add the BBC live and listen again radio on to it?

The BBC PodRadio plugin no longer works as BBC has moved its radio to the iplayer.

Thanks again for an excellent plugin, lets hope RTMP support comes soon...

Yes it's using the updated website (not that there's much different from the Plugin's perspective, just the streaming method)

The radio side is a little different to the TV side, so it's essentially like writing an entirely different plugin, but I'll have a look into it once the plugin/script are working well. Getting the TV streaming is the most important bit right now.

I can confirm the latest (Fixed) T3ch build (15/7) does not support RTMP.. I've got the IPlayer loading the content, but it will not stream any video, like marlboroman1.

Geesssss.... seems the founder hardware is getting is getting the short straw?

Would be nice to have this back on the humble Xbox to.. Sad

Have patience Geeba :-)
Just because it wasn't in the t3ch build from a fortnight ago, doesn't mean it won't be in the next t3ch build due in 3 day's time...

Has anybody tried the latest T3ch yet from yesterday ?

- MikeBeecham - 2008-07-29

can anyone help a BBC iplayer plugin noob? I have the script files (3 x py files) and I have created a BBC iPlayer folder within the scripts root folder, extracted all 3 files there and nothing happens..

I can see my bbc iplayer link..when I click it, it says (running), then the 'running" stops

- rudeboyx - 2008-07-29

its a PLUGIN not a script. place the 3 files in the plugins/videos/bbciplayer folder and assign it as a source in the videos section of xbmc

- pt-1 - 2008-07-29

With the T3ch from 28.07.2008 I now get the following error when I start to browse trough BBC One for example:

- marlboroman1 - 2008-07-29

I've not noticed any commits that have relevance to RTMP streaming so I would not expect it to be working. I think it well be listed in the read me under noteworthy changes if its added. That is if its even possible on xbox, if it were a trivial problem I think it would have been fixed by now.

- Gamester17 - 2008-07-29

No, no updated to RTMP have been done to XBMC for Xbox, (and no one on Team-XBMC is currently working on it).

- tirosh - 2008-07-30

I have just installed and setup this plugin but it doesn't appear to be working for me.

I can see a list of BBC channels and find "some" programs but when I try to watch a program I get
"Error - Playlist playback aborted - Too many consecutive failed items"

Thanks.

- Geeba - 2008-07-30

(and no one on Team-XBMC is currently working on it).

Seems a shame..... Sad

But I gues in time the software WILL leave the humble Xbox behind....
