- matt! - 2009-01-22 I really like your version, Dink. Preferred over the original structure, definitely. - jacksprat - 2009-01-24 My fav xbmc script, thanks so much johnsto. - nunrgguy1 - 2009-01-25 Has anyone else had this issue: If I choose to stream a video source it will buffer quite quickly and start playing, no problem. Radio is entirely different. Buffering is extremely slow and often hangs at just over 3/4 - is this an issue with the plugin or BBC? - dink - 2009-01-26 nunrgguy1 Wrote:Has anyone else had this issue: Currently the only way to work around this is to lower the cache setting for internet video to a low value such as 512kb. Settings -> System -> Cache -> Video Cache - Internet see postings http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=257017&postcount=807 http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=29464 There is an open ticket which references this problem http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/4522 - HexusOdy - 2009-01-26 While I've used XBMC for quite some time I have little experience with scripts. Do I just put this in the scripts folder Dink? Does it require its own parent folder or just put the 2 files and folders straight in scripts? - Swifty - 2009-01-26 Firstly I want to say great work on this, sat in bed and watched an episode of Top Gear last night on the TV via XBMC - worked flawlessly! HexusOdy; You need to put the Iplayer folder into Plugins\Video not into Scripts.. I fell for that one first off :p - HexusOdy - 2009-01-26 Thanks Swifty, I'll do that. I'd love to see some of the best plugins like this integrated into XBMC, I think at the moment thats one of its few weaknesses. - HexusOdy - 2009-01-26 Is it possible to improve the stream quality? While watchable its alot more pixelated than normal TV. Do they do a HQ stream and can I access it? - Rocky5 - 2009-01-26 HexusOdy Wrote:Is it possible to improve the stream quality? Not yet that is a XBMC job not the plugin some peeps were working in making XBMC RMTP compatible with the HQ streams but they hit problems with stuff so not sure now if it will be in any time soon. - HexusOdy - 2009-01-26 ok cool. And one last thing Do the streams always hang your PC when they finish playing? - Geeba - 2009-01-26 I just started a quick thread here... http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=44478 Not sure if its of any use as like I say have no idea on code.... but it looks like an iPlayer, ITV, C4 and C5 all in one plugin for Windows MCE, looks like its free so may have some info in it that could be of interest to XBMC plugins? - dink - 2009-01-26 HexusOdy Wrote:ok cool. And one last thing grab a recent XBMC build and that should solve the problem see http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=257017&postcount=807 - HexusOdy - 2009-01-26 I have the very latest SVN as posted by Ikon this morning but it hung at the end of playing. WIll try another and see if happens again. Patched IPlayer Script - dink - 2009-01-29 Hi Folks I have made a few more updates to the iplayer script (build on my previous updates to make it faster and support series and category listings). It now
