So, maybe Oreo running on the TV and they just placed some boxes for the show.
Hmm, not sure which remote is for which device, but this video shows the android info page, and it says mibox 3 with mitv oreo

IIRC the remote is Bluetooth only, but the Mi Box includes an IR receiver.

My Mi Box 4K is connected via HDMI to my LG Home Theater System (LG BH7440p) which supports DD+ but there are no 5.1 soundtracks in Netflix app. 5.1 works in any other app (Kodi, VLC etc).

Even original Xiaomi remotes are very different by type, even they are using the same case for the box remotes. The old non-international boxes came with infrared remote. Our box also supports infrared, because the smart home accessories also using infrared.
I guess they removed turning off opcion from the firmware because the bt remote cannot turn it on. So only sleep is available.

hi guys , I want to buy this box , but I want it to play 4k HDR hevc m2ts files packed in mkv (remuxed uhd BDs ) that I have on 3.0 ext 2,5inch HDD that is powered only by usb cable and also need it to play ATMOS or DTSx track on the movie .
so , is this little box capable playing this ?
cause when I see only 1 usb 2.0 im not sure

You can always use powered USB hub if you have issues.

I don't know how it will perform connected via usb to a hard drive, but the Mi Box is NOT capable of playing copied 4k movies via wired or wireless ethernet. I've copied 10 of my 4k movies to a NAS and not a single one will play on the Mi Box without stuttering every couple seconds. The same movies play fine on the nVidia Shield.

It connects with 866 Mbps, so at least for the download direction should be 2x

As so many people complained about the poor wifi performamce, I thought it might be only 1x1.
But 2x2 sounds good.
My Notebook reaches over 40MB/s via 2x2 in 5GHz, so about over 320Mb/s.
Might be more than enough for streaming 4k content.
