I get passthrough of DTS-HD and TrueHD on my Win10 home theatre PC. Did you get HD passthrough with any version of Kodi on any devices?

The screenshots I posted are with Leia on the Mi Box 3.
i think the android audio track on mi box 3 is much better than in mi box s. in mi box 3 you see the kodi true hd option pass through but on mi box s it doesn't show.  yes i get true hd on win 10 tested it with kodi and vlc (its easier to set-up vlc audio passthrough) but i dnt want to use pc as media player too much power.
Just bought the Mi Box S. Does not have option for DTS HD or TrueHD in Kodi using settings above. Can get passthrough to DTS on Denon amp. No 1080p switching between 50hz and 24hz either

https://kodi.tv/download -> android -> Pre release -> REGISTER TO PLAY STORE BETA CHANNEL -> and then just install/update Kodi from google play on your device
 Thanks a lot!!!

Didn't know about this Play Store beta channel! Smile

I guess still no luck with NTFS.
Does anyone has news about plans to bring back NTFS/exFat write support? Maybe beta testers have some insider info...
Thanks.

2415 is a test build for beta testers only. I use latest public build (2396) without any issues.

apps can write to Android/data/app_name/ folders.
you can use file manager (such as X-plore File Manager, ES File Explorer and etc) to open usb drive in OTG mode - only this app will have access to usb drive but it also will have full access (e.g. will be able to write to any folder).

The devs still cannot reproduce the dd+ dropout issue. They are testing with a Yamaha AVR. I’m collecting device brands and models that having this issue and hopefully it can help devs to reproduce.

Having the dd+ problem on Netflix (audio dropouts 10-15-20 times in the course of a movie) EVERY time I play something in dd+

Also same problem on kodi with pass through (whichever format, dts-es Dolby true etc). Am on the latest official 8.0.0 oreo, my receiver is a pioneer vsx 924.

Scouting the internet for solutions I got to this post and made an account just to give my 2 cents and ask for a solution pleaseee

PS sorry for the double post

After Oreo update (Build 2396), the apps can only write to FAT32 partitions. The apps do not have write access to NTFS partitions.

thanks, but how your message differs from mine? :-) we were talking about fat32.
