RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - gotiuser01 - 2017-02-28 (2017-02-28, 01:11)kourosh Wrote: Hi, thanks for your reply i was starting to think i was invisible would say about every minute, but it seems not everyone is seeing the judder on there box's and getting smooth playback....seems strange in this day and age that players over 5 years ago are able to play formats correctly and newer boxes are having the same issues. Does your TV support motion interpolation? (TV sets with labelled refresh rates like 100hz/120hz/200hz/240hz/480hz, etc). If it does, turn off that feature completely as it makes the stuttering a lot worse when the video is not perfectly synced to the display. I love that feature but I had to turn off mine to make the stuttering disappear (at least much less noticeable for me) RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - kourosh - 2017-02-28 It sure does 240hz samsung 65es8000...will try that later thanks RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - woronczak - 2017-02-28 The Mi Box doesn't output at 23.976Hz anyways - it is 24Hz, so there will be some judder due to that if you are playing 23.976 sources. I think that if you have HDMI adaptation set to on, it seems to smooth this out a lot and I can't really notice it as obviously (I think what it does is the equivalent of sync playback to display in Kodi). I can recall wrxtasy saying something similar earlier in this forum as well. RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - motoko - 2017-02-28 is this the correct box? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shipping-XiaoMi-Mi-tv-box-3-Wifi-Amlogic-S905-64bit-Quad-Core-1GB-DDR3-Android/32699739438.html?trace=msiteDetail2pcDetail&aff_platform=aaf&cpt=1488281911974&sk=Y7bAZbY&aff_trace_key=6b109dd6bc33437c9976c77a289fa636-1488281911974-07846-Y7bAZbY RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - wrxtasy - 2017-02-28 Have not even looked at the link because I can recite it off by heart now...... The correct Model number of the .... Android TV OS - 2G/8G International / USA Spec Mi Box is - MDZ-16-AB - simply look at Website photos. Next to be doubly sure look at Xiaomi's own USA Spec - Mi Box webpage..... http://www.mi.com/en/mibox/ RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - kourosh - 2017-02-28 Thanks guys will watch a movie tonight as see how it goes RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - banesi - 2017-02-28 some issue I have: when I stream LIVE content, for example, Sky News LIVE HD, from native Youtube app, stream is always low quality no matter which options I choose, even setting it to auto ain't working. When I cast that same stream from my phone to mibox, it is playing in HD. I don't have problem with regular HD clips, they all play in high definition. RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - feathers - 2017-03-01 Can you link to the stream ? I'll test it when I get a chance. Should we give it a try? Link: promotion.geekbuying .com/promotion/fan_festival RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - atv2jber - 2017-03-03 (2017-03-03, 11:35)cornsilk Wrote: Hey guys, at geekbuying you can get the Mi Box 4K for $9.90 if it gets a certain number of shares. Should we give it a try? After clicking on the link, the product page says it's 69.99 which is the same as Wally World in the US. Is this anything else that needs to be done to get the 9.90 offer? Thanks. RE: Xiaomi 4K HDR 'Mi Box' (Android TV set-top box) - Koying - 2017-03-03 Looks like some kind of scam where ~10000 people have to "share" the promotion, after which a "limited quantity" of devices will be available at that price. |
