DXVA2 Problem - madmarkym - 2016-09-07 I am running Kodi 17 beta 2 with a Radeon rx460 graphics card on a Windows 10 x64 machine with the latest Radeon Drivers. I had the same problem running Kodi 16. When I play back HD TV recordings with DXVA2 the picture is unwatchable and distorted. SD recorded tv is fine. When DXVA2 is disabled the picture is fine. https://paste.ubuntu.com/23145818/ Cheers Edit: updated log link RE: DXVA2 Problem - Ed76 - 2016-09-07 its a known issue. you have to wait for new drivers. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=283734 RE: DXVA2 Problem - madmarkym - 2016-09-08 Yes I tried disabling DXVA2, in Kodi but it just causes the same problems as mentioned in the thread you posted, Kodi crashing. There is a post on the AMD forum regarding, but obviously the issues have not been addressed yet. https://community.amd.com/message/2743057 RE: DXVA2 Problem - tehax - 2016-09-15 I have the same issue. dxva2 only works with h.265 or 4k channels. In DVBviewer i could solve the issue because they use lav filter. In the settings i activate dxva2 only for hevc and h.265/UHD resolutions. Is it possible to edit the dxva2 settings somewhere in kodi?
