I have a problem with the 'watched movie' mark/flag. In ZDMC 16.1 the mark/flag was set automatically after i watched a movie or episode. In 17.4 i have to do it manually. Does anybody know how i can fix this? I use the Aeon Nox 5 skin.

The casing
NOTE The color of the case is darker in real
It is a small box ( 197mmx197mmx65mm), it allows to place it on any model of furniture/bench TV, the grey aluminum casing has a good finishes, the manufacturing quality is excellent.

i have a Sony TVs and if I understand the HDMI range setting does not work properly, we can leave the option on auto it does not change anything?

Been away long time.
You have kodi normal build on zidoo
Then you. Have zdmc which uses own zidoo player

Also i experience missing subtitle lines with latest build. I saw people here experience the same..

Your link takes me to a thread about X1. I'm still using the official Kodi 16.x-based ZDMC (it's working well for me), but there are two other versions on their forum:
- Official ZDMC 17.4. May as well wait for version based off 17.5.1 I'd think.
- Unofficial, user-compiled ZDMC 18 Leia (Build 9-10-2017). Looks like issues being reported in that thread, so held off trying out.

we talk about the problems of zidoo concerning deep color etc ..., but for me it's one of the best image (box android) especially compared to my Egreat devices for example.

A small comparison with my Egreat A10 / 11.
Here are my impressions about the PQ of zidoo, this is only my personal opinion and i'm not an expert as Wesk05.

Some people say that the image of the Egreat is better, They may be right. but for me, my preference goes to the Zidoo.

Sharpness
The sharpness is better on the Zidoo ( out of the box ) but using the sharpness of my TV, we get the same thing on the Egreat,
colorimetry
I have a preference for the Zidoo, i am not able to have the same thing with the Egreat after several tests

Why I prefer the PQ of the Zidoo
With the Egreat
- Sometimes there are areas of the image with a kind of greenish-pixelated color with the Egreat (I had the same problem with the himedia Q10 pro)
We do not see it on my pictures, and this happens on certain scenes when there are dark gradations of colors.
- Another problem for me is the gradient banding with the Egreat ( and himedia Q10 pro ).
I do some pictures and videos, you can not see it correctly on the video ( It can be seen from the 25th seconds on the left of the image) of the Egreat, but it is present when we see it with our own eyes.
On the Zidoo
The 2 problems above does not exist on the Zidoo
Overall I find the PQ of the Zidoo better, and you have an excellent PQ at the first start of the box after unpacking.

i do not know if the x93c can read edid, but I will follow your advice and choose limited

The intern and extern srt subtitle experience is also better than the previous firmware, but not fixed completely.
The HTML tags are not visible and are completely removed. So no cursive, Italic or bold.
(It looks like Zidoo team has some difficulties to fix these HTML TAGS problem.)
No problem (for me), better no HTML tags than this in the previous firmwares: Text</i> or </b>
But there are stil some characters or letters visible when watching a movie with internal or external srt subtitles.
Like: Text/ or TextA or Text>
