It's not the newer 22.xx.xx.xxxx WDDM 2.2 driver branch.
21.xx.xx.xxxx is older driver branch. This is the latest official driver release available on intel.com.

I think (seeing the results on the 3D testing that is going on by Intel support for the seventh generation NUC's with HDMI 2.0), that they simply don't have the hardware to test the HDR function. So no 4k TV with 3D and HDR for there driver development employees. Just as simple as that I guess.

Those with the flickering issue, just came across this in the Intel Communities.
"EDIT: Fixed the problem for me. Go to Intel's driver download page for Intel Iris Plus 640 and download version 15.45.18.4664 (which is marked as previously released for some reason). Those of you that thought it was a driver issue were correct.".

Maybe this is as simple as 3D protocol declaration missing in registry. Maybe we can paste it in there but need the info.
We know that Intel development team is lacking newer TV to test this stuff and that's why HDR and 3D is not working

Like many other users I am struggling between Intel NUC and Beebox. As far as I understood the recent entries in this thread both manufacturers have provided a new HDMI firmware v1.66 which solves (?) the passthrough issues with HD audio formats - is this correct?

It doesn't look like there is anything new other than breaking whatever 3D playback was possible with the older build. Now, I don't even get "hardware based" option in Kodi. HSBS, HTAB videos now switch to 3D automatically.

I know this is a very simple question but something I'm still wondering about...
For example:
Can a PC (with Kabby lake hardware) output 4K HDR out of one HDMI output and also output a downscaled 1080p or lower video HDMI audio output through another HDMI output.
Basically the 2 separate outputs that a standalone 4K player has. The second question related to the first is can Kodi be used as the player to support these dual outputs?
I know I could clone screens buy the resolution would be the same on both.

Is this even possible?
This is exactly what I was looking for in a HTPC. Something like the dual outputs from a stand alone player. One for video at HDMI 2.0b and one for audio at HDMI 1.4 with no video or video downconverted to 1080 or 720.
How would KODI handle this?
The reason for this is my projector is 4K HDMI 2.0b HDR capable but my processor is only HDMI 1.4 at 1080P max.
