Ok so HDMI 1 set to 1080p resolution HDMI 2 set to 4k resolution So on your AVR/TV HDMI input if HDMI 1 is connected to a input A and HDMI 2 is correct to input, should that work? Example: Hope my explanation was clear enough. But and Ai already tried to extend the displays which didn't work, because one output shows an empty desktop and the other shows Kodi. I need to duplicate the display or find a way to disable the second display. RE: Intel Kaby Lake Hardware - hdmkv - 2016-11-13 Good idea @movie78; hope this solution works... as you could then send 2x HDMI cables to TV/PJ, or possibly use a HDMI switch depending on 3D MVC or 4K use. RE: Intel Kaby Lake Hardware - Caramba69 - 2016-11-13 I have found a way. When connected to the Hdmi 1.4 port I can switch the display driver to single display only. In this case 3d works while the hdmi 2.0 port is connected to the receiver. To get a picture with hdmi 2.0 I have to clone the picture in the driver settings. 3D still doesn't play on hdmi 2.0, but 4k60 works. RE: Intel Kaby Lake Hardware - fmedrano1977 - 2016-11-14 Well I ordered mine, with 8GB RAM and a 64GB M2 drive, and ordered a Denon X2300, I'll report later this week how my setup works. I have to unplug the hdmi 2.0 connection, because after booting the box I get the same issues. As I don't watch a lot 4k60 material I leave the connection to the hdmi 1.4 port. At least 4k 10 bit plays well. |
