I created a new thread on a problem in Kodi 17 Beta 5 not installing updates to the default add-ons distributed with Kodi (such as the scrapers and Kodi version checker) 295122 (thread). Then some drive-by poster added a "me too" concerning a banned add-on and as a result the thread was garbage binned / locked.
OK I see that we don't discuss or support any Kodi with banned add-ons, but ISTM it would be better to just delete the offending post rather than kill my thread which I believe is a valid bug/issue in Kodi 17.

Sorry Scott, it was my post pointing out the banned stuff mentioned by the 'drive-by poster' that likely caused your thread to get binned. I probably should've have just let him bang his head against the wall with all the junk he was trying to install from that other site.
