Only three visualizations under Linux? - chikko - 2007-11-06

i've been using xbmc for quite a while now, and only recently have i found that there supposed to be more than 3 visualizations.. Confused
i'm using the latest svn on linux, but all i can see under the music visualizations are the projectM, waveform and the openGL spectrum.. :confused2:
i've got all the vis files and the required libraries inside the XBMC/visualisations/ folder but still all i can see are those three visualizations and nothing more. i did a search all over the forum and couldn't find any hint for that kind of problem..

help..? Eek

Wrong forum so moving, and the Linux port of XBMC does currently not have more than those three visualizations.

The Xbox version visualizations uses DirectX/Direct3D so those can not be used under Linux as that requires each of them to be ported to OpenGL

first of all, sorry for posting in the help section instead of the linux help section - i wasn't sure if the fact that i use the linux version has anything to do with the problem.
thanks for the info, gamester - was almost sure that something's wrong with me Smile hopefully there'll be a solution that would solve this soon..
