General Script Issues - TheFonze - 2007-11-07 Hi. I just finished softmodding my 1.4 xbox with Krayzie's Ndure Installer 1.1.1. I proceeded to install XBMC. Everything seemed to be working fine eg Backed up games, DVD's, music etc.. Until I began testing the scripts. Apple Movie trailers seems to be the only one that works consistently. Everything else seems to totally or partially hang my system. In Youtube I can search for videos but cannot play anything, I don't get any error messages and after I try to play something I cannot quit out of the Youtube script and need to restart. myTV seems to hang most of the time, Snake doesn't run at all. Launch Browser freezes, Tetris runs but has frozen and Poker Timer II runs but I can't seem to quit out of that either.:confused2: I have tried 3 totally different releases of XBMC XBMC SVN 2007-11-04 (4th of November 2007) rev10675 XBMC 2.0.1 Final Pointrelease (13th of November 2006) XBMC 2.0.0 Final Pointrelease (29th of September 2006) Could something be wrong with my softmod or am I missing something really obvious? The machine only fails when running Python Scripts. Any bright ideas would be greatly appreciated Thank You - danr-xbmc - 2007-11-07 Hi, i'm no expert..but had similar problems until i changed dash to Blackbolt 360 one. What dash do you use? Might be worth changing. (thread might be better off in gen support area) Update - TheFonze - 2007-11-08 Update Reinstalled XBMC SVN 2007-11-04 (4th of November 2007) rev10675 Deleted all scripts that didn't work. Downloaded YouTube2 from XBMCscripts.com Unzipped to \Apps\XBMC\Scripts Renamed to YouTube worked OK Installed all other scripts through the "XBMCscripts" scripts from within XBMC most scripts running perfectly - J-Fu - 2008-01-01 Fonze, I'm having the same problem too.
