Eventually hopefully, some in time will make an image that we can use to boot from (USB memstick or off hard drive dual boot) that will load Ubuntu, then auto-load xbmc, for us non-linux techie's out there.

I've been testing xbmc for linux for ~a week now, it looks pretty damn good but it's definitely a alpha/beta release. If it were to be available now as a usb boot image this forum would be flooded with way to many support questiona dn not ehough bug reports. Just be patient soon enough XBMC will take over the world
