Thanks, it's odd that I can't reproduce - you're using SQLite I assume?

I had hoped to upload a debug build overnight but we're having a problem building LibreELEC with debug at the moment, and Real Life means I have limited time for Kodi/LE but will see if I can get a debug-enabled build uploaded later tonight, or tomorrow. Or next week.
Real life comes always first. Wish the best.

No i do have all the songs on an external drive plugged via USB and the import into Library. But this Problems seems to fix after rebuild my Library today. I play songs now for an hour and no problems so far.

Similar issue for me, expect that instead of showing search results in the addon I get a crash/reboot. I Don’t use search that often so it’s only been a minor annoyance.

anyone notice with an external thumb drive or drive connected to the PI3 with libreelec, video closed unexpectedly ? i have this problem since 2 weeks now but i test older build and other TVH build, i cannot found the last time that is working without interrupt
i did a health scan to my external drive and no corrupted block or anything like that, it do not happens when i watch live tv, just recordings by TVH.

I have to correct my bug report, artefacts only occur if I connect my bluetooth headphones and output audio through pulseaudio. Without audio output through pulseaudio (eg hdmi) and with headphones still connected there are no artefacts. So issue doesnt't start with latest build.
Headphones are connected with built in bt of rpi3+.

Any hint to debug this further?

No drama, I'm just visiting family and not back until Saturday - I can still do stuff, but only via a tablet which is a little limiting!

Good to know the rebuild has fixed the problem. If it does come back, can you test debug-enabled build #0523b: RPi2

This should produce a more detailed crash log.

Anyone else experiencing crashes should also give #0523b a try, and upload the crash log. Thanks.

Are you testing with stock Estuary, or a custom skin? I've just tested the add-on search in #0523 on Pi3+ with stock Estuary, and it seems to be working OK for me - no lockup.

Yes just stock Estuary. I’ve never installed or used another skin.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - xtrem57 - 2018-05-25

Hi there !

I am running 8.2.5 and want to get to test build to get AmazonPrime on my Kodi.

My setup is:
  • Libreelec 8.2.5 on Raspberry Pi3 (with HIFIBERRY DIGI+)
  • MySQL Database (Right checked)
  • Some path substitution (NFS read/write OK)
  • Hyperion for ambilight
When I do the update with last build #0523, upgrade is fine (no error on TV), but after the reboot, it's stuck on the Libreelec logo (with build number on top)
If I reboot again, I get a black screen.

For test, on clean install 8.2.5, then upgrade to #0523 on same hardware, it works.
So it must be something with my configuration I can't find.

I enable Debug log before the upgrade
Log is here

Thanks in advance !

Playback is not working anymore. When I restart Kodi, it works the first time but if I try to switch channel or play another file, somehow it won't work anymore. No matter if I play PVR or something else. If I restart Kodi, it will work again.
I was on #513 before and there it happened rather randomly but on #523 it's like described above.

Anyone experiencing freezes or crashes in #0523, can you test #0525 and report if it is better/worse/same. Thanks.

Same. Kodi freezes when searching.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - thent - 2018-05-26

Kodi crashes when quickly browsing through a mp3 playlist.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Jezze - 2018-05-26

I can also confirm crash/freeze when using search function with different addons. Thats why i use now very old build from LE. No crash/freeze with old build.

Probably the CEvent::Set() crash that is fixed by PR13721, but can't be sure without a crash log.
