The rules for going to turbo (1200MHz) mode are any arm core is above 50% busy and temperature not too high (i.e. no thermometer symbol).
Can you ssh in and check with top what the arm cores are doing?

What happens if you force a core to be busy? Does frequency jump up? e.g.
Code:
while : ; do true; done

Any reason why "boost centre channel when downmixing" is removed?

Commits no longer in build:
[audio] Add settings option to boost centre channel when downmixing (d337fa81)

Seems to be commited back in in august, not seeing it in the recent libreelec leia beta build

I don't actually know how to use ssh. My computer skills are limited. But I can try to learn and give it a try. May take a couple of days to get round to it.

I have a RPi3 in a Flirc case, so I don't think it has anything to do with temperature. I also noticed that when I start up LibreELEC then the CPU speed is at 600 MHz. When I then run one of the aforementioned 10 bit Hevc files for a minute and a half and then stop the playback and check the CPU speed, then it is still at 600 MHz but the temperature has risen.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - keny - 2018-10-09

Hi,

since build #822, my LEDs on RPI3 B+ won't stay turned off. Build #821 was the last one, when this config in /flash/config.txt was working:

# LED turned off
dtparam=act_led_trigger=none
dtparam=act_led_activelow=off
dtparam=pwr_led_trigger=none
dtparam=pwr_led_activelow=off
dtparam=eth_led0=14
dtparam=eth_led1=14

Any idea what has changed?

The CPU clock will go down to 600MHz really quickly when there's not much to do. To see the actual clock during HEVC playback you have to check it while you play a movie - eg ssh in and run bcmstat.sh

so long,

Hias

Hello,
When I try to create a new profile and then connect to it, the raspberry is just stuck in a boot loop.

Here is the log.

Did someone experienced the same thing?

Dear Milhose,

my remote works again, the freezes at times seem to occur lesser.

If the freezes will come up again I‘ll post another bug post.

Thanks for your great work!

Kind Regards,

G.

Only just noticed it but I am sure it has been there for a while. Has the removal of the episode/movie info from inside the player view been removed on purpose? If so is there a way to get it back.

It was great to get a synopsis of the episode or movie that you were watching in the case of a wife/partner came late so you didnt have to try and explain the plot to them.

As far as I can tell it's still working (stock Estuary) so a screenshot might help in case we're looking at/talking about different things. Please test with stock Estuary (in case it's a third-party skin issue). You can always go back through these builds to find when any change might have occurred.

Edit: Build #1006:

does it have to be that way? I hate this show.
No offense ;-)
