We were trying to reproduce this behaviour amongst kodi devs. Do you have an example that shows the problem that doesn't require an account to log in to (twitch and youtube playlists do). I am experiencing, what I believe is the same problem. If you change sources (at the TV), shut the TV OFF, turn the TV ON and change sources back to KODI, CEC control is lost. I had the problem starting with build 0124. I am re-testing build 0117 but I believe it was free of the problem. This CEC issue is difficult to regress. I am not 100% positive of the chain of events necessary for CEC control to be lost. Speaking specifically to the loss of CEC control, and not on-going older CEC issues, can you tell with which build the problem first appeared? I am finding this problem difficult to regress. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - MONSTA - 2017-01-28 Like i said it started a few months ago. More precisely i don't remember when. I saw then in highlights something about rebuilding of cec. Perhaps after that. Issues are random. I can't say exactly what, how and when. Now works fine, in an hour not. And again. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - MatteN - 2017-01-28 Dont know what caused my CEC-problems, going back to 0117 didnt help. Updated tvfirmware and unplugging another HDMIcable, now its working again. I believe the CEC problem (losing connection with TV after being idle for some time) is due to this change: firmware: CEC code cleanup 11-13, post #589 since on build #17 worked fine.. I have 2 rpi2 with same issue. Yes, that is the most likely cause. Let me produce a couple of test firmwares with cleanups 13, 12 and 11 reverted to try to narrow it down exactly. |
