Can you try disabling Bluetooth and confirm if the problem continues?

Hi. Milhouse!

Yesterday 02/05 I was still able to play videos from Amazon Prime.  I also borrowed a video from Amazon and started to watch it.
I today wanted to finish it but it didn't play.  I tried to start from the beginning but it didn't work either.
I then tried to play a video that is included in my Prime account - same issue.

Please check http://ix.io/1AmG for the debug log.

Thanks,
Raoul

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Akirafubuki - 2019-02-06

Tested. I confirm that bluetooth is the cause. Disabled no problem. Enabled after 10 seconds the problems start. Tested in build #0205.

What changed between the video working, and not working - did you upgrade the LibreELEC version, or Amazon add-on? Looking at your log, the video cannot be accessed:

Initially, I didn't change anything. The build I was using yesterday and when I again tried today was #0201. However, I cannot tell if an addon was updated while I was not "watching".

Yeah, I saw the 403 error. However, (a) I can play the video fine from my laptop and (b) if I try to play a free video ("Die Taschendiebin") I get audio but no picture. Perhaps the problem is more related to InputStream Adaptive?

Thanks for your swift reply!

Yes, I would say so.

I tried the latest Amazon Prime Instant on my Revo 3700 (x86_64, Nvidia ION2) with #0205 and for movies I have only audio (no video), but for tvshows I have both audio and video (ie. working fine). Yet with RPi3+, both movies and tvshows are working normally.

Whether this is an Amazon or inputstream.adaptive issue I don't really know, but I feel it's unlikely to be a LibreELEC specific issue. Probably best to open an issue on inputstream.adaptive.

Hi komerdoor,

I just updated to Libreelec 9.0 and along with using Piano DAC 1.1 and Kali Reclocker I just got hit by the noise issue.

You stated that changing from 24 bit to 32 bit output can fix this. However I don't know where in Libreelec or ALSA I can do this change. Can you help me with this?

Thanks!
   Thomas

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - atatdotdot - 2019-02-07

Pardon me if this is a dumb question, but I can't seem to track down the answer. I've been using these builds on RPi3 for a while now as I needed the Leia functionality to get Netflix to work (if I remember correctly). Currently I'm using #1219; I've not been updating automatically or just for the sake of it, but only if something appeared to be amiss.

I see now that LibreELEC (Leia) 9.0.0 Official has now been released in the last few days (2019-02-02), but I can't find anything in this forum about that, which seems odd. Why are these testbuilds still being released if this version is now the official one?

Bottom line – should I switch to official, and if so, can I and should I do so without doing a fresh install?

Thanks for any assistance.

These testbuilds will continue until Kodi branches Leia and opens master for Kodi 19, at which point this thread will be closed and a new Kodi 19/LibreELEC 10 thread created.

Up to you, yes you can, and yes that should work.

@Milhouse

I'm curious if there is substantial benefit to reinstalling my devices with LE9 proper versus leaving them on your builds?

Switching to the official release means you'll be on a stable version suitable for long-term use, so if that appeals to you then go for it. The builds in this thread are test builds, intended to be updated regularly, and may be unstable from time to time. Now that Kodi 18 is winding down there's less of a difference between these builds and official releases but that should change again once Kodi 19 starts.
