RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - indri - 2017-03-19 (2017-03-18, 16:16)Milhouse Wrote:(2017-03-18, 15:56)indri Wrote: my 8bitdo nes30 controller works fine (which i use also as a tv remote), no problems at all. That's correct. Luckily I didn't try it on my Pi3. Thanks for the fix! RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - paulyz - 2017-03-19 why from middle realeases kodi 17 and on all kodi 18 I get low power notification (top, right on screen) when play HD channels? HD channels on HW decoding. When I back to one first release of kodi 17, everything fine. My rp2 power from TV's USB. HD channels on HW decoding. When I back to one first release of kodi 17, everything fine. My rp2 power from TV's USB. The TV's USB socket may only provide 500mA (that is all the spec guarantees). They are often insufficient for running a Pi2 or Pi3 from. The reason the warning appears is because the voltage has dropped below 4.63V. You need a better power supply. Yes, I know what TV's usb isn't power reactor , but why this begins only from one of kodi (or maybe PVR or etc update)? If, need more power, thats mean what something bad optimized? Now installed official latest stable LibreELEC - the same. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - popcornmix - 2017-03-19 (2017-03-19, 20:58)paulyz Wrote: but this system working ~2 years. Yes, I know what TV's usb isn't power reactor , but why this begins only from one of kodi (or maybe PVR or etc update)? If, need more power, thats mean what something bad optimized? I suspect the problem has always been present. There have been issues with the warning symbols not being displayed in the past (although processor still gets throttled, so your system wasn't running as it should). If you can find a specific build that doesn't have the issue, I can investigate, but the real solution will be to get a power supply that can provide 5V when the processor is busy. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - paulyz - 2017-03-19 in old system, when I plug 4 sub devices, I get notification what low power, so, notification worked before. Maybe, in one of release minimum power value was raised? I explain, why I powered from TV's usb, when I turn on tv, rpi2 turns on (power from USB) and start show IPTV. When I turn of TV, rpi2 tuns off (tv's USB stays powered ~15s after TV's off, it's enough for rpi to make clear shut down). This way very comfortable usage of rpi2. this build work good: #1022, 22-Oct-2016: RPi / RPi2 -- Release post (Minors. Clean build.) (Kodi 17 - LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0)) RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Aux_ - 2017-03-19 (2017-03-19, 21:13)paulyz Wrote: I explain, why I powered from TV's usb, when I turn on tv, rpi2 turns on (power from USB) and start show IPTV. You buy a master / slave connector, set the TV as master. Exactly so I had solved the dilemma, if I turn on TV, AV-Receiver and RPi is also switched on. I think is the best way and works well for a long time. Just my 5 cent ;-) RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - paulyz - 2017-03-19 (2017-03-19, 21:38)Aux_ Wrote: You buy a master / slave connector, set the TV as master. ok, need to think, thanks! Can you scroll through armwork in movies library view? Can you play video with software decode? RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - 3DBuff - 2017-03-20 3D ISO files issue. I traced the issue with opening ISO files down to release #0316. Today's release #0319 is still not working. #0315 is the last release opening 3D ISO files. I suspect this one (introduced with #316): [bluray] Improve Blu-ray playback (PR:11836, 10 commits, 8 files changed) It seems the folder BDMV/PLAYLIST won't be entered/scanned anymore, for whatever reason. Therefore it gets no *.mpls playlist(s) and no items to play. @milhouse: Just let me know how I can be of help for debugging. |
