RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - kastormdz - 2017-08-31 I'll check... same happened with bluetooh settings.. disabled. tks. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - yamcenutzer - 2017-08-31 Yes, now that I have let it run for some time, I can also see this, but not always. Need to try more often to see if there is a pattern. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - debutanker - 2017-08-31 Thanks for your feedback, yamcenutzer - i was second-guessing myself already.... My pattern is, like i already described in former postings, that this behavior is only present at some channels (e.g german private hd channels). With other channels (e.g public broadcasting hd channels) everythings fine! Due to fact that this behavoir first appeared with build #0722, maybe this pr ---> https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/12510 is related to that case? RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Guilouz - 2017-09-01 Hi Milhouse, Since recent changes in LibreELEC addons settings, SMB share does not appear anymore in Finder (OSX) and when I try to go to smb://192.168.0.45 (IP from my LibreELEC system), it's impossible to login in guest mod. Any idea ? EDIT : Avahi was disable in last build, after enable it it's ok. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-01 (2017-09-01, 00:00)Guilouz Wrote: Hi Milhouse, Default server minimum protocol is now SMB2, which your Mac may not support so configure SMB1 in the LE Settings addon. If your workgroup is not WORKGROUP then you change that too in LE settings. There was a bug in #0827/#0828 that could result in ssh and maybe other services being left in a disabled state, fixed in #0829. Edit: If enabled services continue to be disabled after a reboot, please upload your kodi log. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-01 New LibreELEC.tv Leia build #0831: Generic (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of LibreELEC.tv master (ab7496d, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (e22038f, changelog) with the following modifications:
RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-01 The Generic (x86) tvheadend42 addon is quite broken at the moment, and will take a few days to fix. If you need it, use the last available #0829 zip. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - kowalmisiek - 2017-09-01 Hello. I decided to make a new HTPC because the support for amd and nvidia graphics cards will not be fast. The only chance is at Intel. Can I count on 4k 60hz movies and Dolby truehd and DTS HD on this motherboard and this processor? I do not want to throw money back in the mud again. Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming Intel Pentium G4600 3,6GHz RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-01 (2017-09-01, 10:00)kowalmisiek Wrote: Hello. Your CPU is a Kaby Lake. Have you read this thread: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=294312 Provided your motherboard doesn't use LSPCON you should be OK for HBR audio passthrough, and the CPU should handle 4K/60. If you have any more questions on this hardware you should ask in the above thread. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-01 After discussing with other LibreELEC and Kodi developers it was felt that the current tvheadend 4.3 is too unstable now to be tested reliably, and it would be better to use a more stable version when testing Kodi. So I'm switching future tvheadend builds to the release/4.2 branch. Hopefully this won't cause any problems or lose features you've become used to. Although there'll be daily updates for tvheadend, the rate of change will be much slower than tvheadend master (but at least it should build, and hopefully work). AMD/Nvidia are evil, and Intel is worse, but only on Linuxen? So the only vialble alternative is to stick to proper (as in paid for) OS's where this seems to be supported OOTB? There's a reason I'm keeping my Windows boxes. |
