RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-12 Now that I'm looking for it, I believe I can confirm there is 1-2 seconds of silence when resuming from pause seeking (on ION2) - presumably this is the same issue you refer to with forward/rewind. I'll need to confirm later when it started (no more time for Kodi until later this evening). I've not noticed the sound being quieter, but will do some A/B testing this evening. Edit: Correction, seeking not pausing. Edit2: "audio silence after seek" definitely starts with #0910, probably PR12785. Not hearing any difference in volume though, sounds the same to me. I will post debug log later with latest build, when i will have some extra time. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - WaVe_99 - 2017-09-12 And for other users - are DIMM screensaver and power settings (saving energy) working for you? Maybe its a skin problem, just asking :-) RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-12 The "Dim" screensaver is working for me, it's what I use (with stock Estuary). Thank you very much, maybe its time for clean install :-) Cause it doesnt work for me also with stock Estuary skin with 0909. And power settings also. I will do clean install. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - WaVe_99 - 2017-09-13 Interesting, default settings for dimm (20% dimming screen) works. Any other (I tried 90% and 100%) are not. Black screensaver works. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-13 (2017-09-13, 00:09)WaVe_99 Wrote: Interesting, default settings for dimm (20% dimming screen) works. Any other (I tried 90% and 100%) are not. Black screensaver works. Pretty sure it's working normally, but at 90% the amount of dimming is too little to notice - 90% would be dimming/darkening the screen by only 10%. While a "Dim level" of 100% would be dimming the screen by 0% (ie. no dimming at all). The "Dim level" setting is perhaps poorly named, or the value should be the inverse of what it currently is - to darken the screen by 80% you currently need to set a "dim level" of 20%, and a dim level of 100% (which produces no dimming at all) is simply confusing. The "dim level" should really range from 0% (no dimming) to 80% (default), or be renamed. Minor issue, though. I dont want to bother you, but are the energy saving settings (power) working for you? For me its broken, the screen is set off after 5 minutes (my setttings) but immediately wake up again... Tested with default Estuary skin. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-13 (2017-09-13, 02:21)WaVe_99 Wrote: You are right, working as you described. I have "Dim" set for 3 minutes and "Put display to sleep after idle" set for 15 minutes, and no issues. "Suspend" is also working. Tested on Skylake NUC and Revo3700 with ION2. Having the screen re-enable immediately might be down to an add-on, or possibly Bluetooth, so check your controllers. Test with "clean" (ie. default) settings to see if it still happens, if not add back your addons/controllers until you can reproduce. See if there's anything in the debug log that indicates why the screen is being re-enabled. Yes, I will test it with clean install, after forward and rewind issues will be solved :-) Maybe its a TV addon, or something else at addons. But, thank you very much, for your work :-) RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-09-14 New LibreELEC.tv Leia build #0913: Generic (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of LibreELEC.tv master (5e3b9a3, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (0664d6e, changelog) with the following modifications:
