I was reading that CuVid would improve Nvidia support, is this anywhere in the pipe?

I'll try them on my end & see if we can't find the source of this obvious bug (could be in the add-on, could be in Kodi, or a combo of the two fighting somewhere along the line).

While I haven't seen 1080p yet, I have noticed some play in way low res, some in 720p (but never above that).

Netflix Originals > A Series of Unfortunate Events > Season 1 > Episode 1 plays for me in 1080p (as do other episodes of this tv show).

Thank you! Tried it & its serving up 1280x720 exactly. Went ahead & did some more troubleshooting by ditching WiFi for Ethernet & hooking up to a straight 1080p TV monitor thinking there might be a glitch in either. No change. Grrr.

Since others are getting better quality streams running the same generic builds (using the same install methods AFAIK), and after the tests I've ran, only thing I can imagine is some kind of hardware hangup regarding either the add-ons themselves or the beta builds not working 100% with my 5th gen i3 NUC. I notice transcoding Plex (running latest PMC inside Kodi) takes a hell of a lot of CPU resources now (almost maxed out) when it shouldn't. Just with basic 1080p h264 videos.

I'm about to run the same setup on my Android TV (Mi Box) to see what that does. Will report back for anyone interested.

Just an update. Installed latest beta on the Mi Box. Netflix still only showing 720p versions, despite me being on the second tier (full HD) plan. I wonder if those getting 1080p links are on the Ultra HD/4k plans?

They also emailed me that my account had suspicious activity on it & reset my password. Woo! Undecided

Anyone? Build 1228 was the last one where it was available. What happened?
Looks like commits 29th Dec by @FernetMenta made non-linear stretch setting disappear. Is this by design and this feature is now gone or is it a bug?
By accident. I will fix this

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - count.zero - 2018-01-06

Hi Milhouse & CO Smile

I tested those builds here for quite a while (for ATMOS passthrough with my NUC7i3BNK), reverted back to LE 8.2.x because the in progress movies and TV-Shows haven't been updated.

With New LibreELEC.tv Leia build #0103 you introduced a fix for that:
[listproviders] Fix certain home screen widgets not refreshing on start/stop playback (like in progress movies)

I am happy now with the working passthrough, working refresh for in progress movies and everything, but the TV-Shows in progress aren't stored (or refreshed) somehow.
Is it possible to fix that as well?

Thanks in advance and thanks for your really great work!!

BR,
count

Could you update alsa-lib to v1.5.0 , there are some changes and audio should work on cherry trail devices.

I've bumped alsa-lib (and alsa-utils) to the latest available 1.1.5 (up from 1.1.4) - you might need to wait a few more years for 1.5.0...

I've also bumped pulseaudio to 11.1 - this should all be in tonight's #0106 build.

Only work ac3/dts bitream and lpcm. But it is not enough for eg. Atmos or DTS:X.
I use last build #0105 and more another but unlucky.
My setup is zotac mi553 hdmi out or dp/hdmi adapter out. and Marantz nr1601.

Can you explain in a little more detail - I don't understand your question.
I have uploaded LibreELEC 8.2.2 and I often have a sound problem on it. The sound sometimes distorts. Suddenly, he slows down for a second and returns to normal. Your new builds are the same. I have an intel lake frog. There is no problem in movies. The problem is only on LIVE TV.

A debug log (wiki) demonstrating the issue (using the latest build in this thread) would be useful.

What PVR addon are you using?

If you are using tvheadend have you installed the latest version (see addons)?

Do you have "Settings > Player > Sync playback to display" enabled or disabled? Does changing this setting make any difference?

Still no audio for me on the new build, revert to 0102 and it's back to good.

Hi I installed libreelec 8.2.0 upgraded to your latest and updated to your latest build. Unfortunatly I can`t get retrogaming to work... When I try to install Libretro Compatibility Addon I get an Error with failed dependencies. Any Hint what can be wrong ?
