RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - emilsvennesson - 2018-02-07

@Milhouse Would it be possible to get a build with the Python 3 interpreter? I have some add-ons I'd like to make Python 3 compatible but pre-compiled test builds are only available on Ubuntu.

Thanks!

@Milhouse Thank you! #0206 Works perfectly!

Thanks!

It's possible, yes, but not a 5 minute task and it will break pretty much everything (I did create some Python3 based builds a few months ago but have since deleted them). This is now work we have planned for LE 10, but I'll go over what I did before and see if I can re-use it but not promising anything!

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Nekromantik - 2018-02-10

quick question, im currently on official LE build.
if I install one of the test builds and want to go back to LE 17 then would I need to do anything with database?

Make a backup. Restore the backup.

They are not to polite, people are to blind. Also noone recognized that lspcon 1.66+ have aspect ratio error, as long as you deactivate scaling (auto format) on the TV. With 1:1 you can see the error. Made even screenshots here but noone cared.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - flyingernst - 2018-02-11

Menu is still way to dark

J4205 over DVI to HDMI Cable
Pioner LX901
Panasonic FHD TV
Benq W1070 FHD Beamer

Switching to full RGB improves Picture a little bit, but still to dark.
In both Screen devices there is no need for manually configure the black level (like on samsung TVs), they recognize it. In case of use of win10 always correctly. The BenQ can get set manually to PC Mode, which expects RGB 0-255, but even then, picture is still to dark.

Perfetly fine here. RGB set to FULL (intel driver). Kodi to Limited and Samsung to Auto (or Dark if you want to force it to limited).
