RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2016-12-15 (2016-12-15, 17:32)Devil-Strike Wrote: Just a question, is there anyway to disable cpu scaling? on Apollo lake it seems to be stuck at 800Mhz, even whene using hevc 10bit software mode cpu is 100% but shows 800Mhz. Can you test this build from piotrasd: https://www.sendspace.com/file/xxic4j He has an Apollo Lake and doesn't have any frequency issues. Edit: You'll need to run the following before applying the above update, as the project for the above file is "Intel" not "Generic" (which will cause the upgrade to fail): Code: touch /storage/.update/.nocompat Re-run the above before switching back from Intel to Generic. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Devil-Strike - 2016-12-15 Thanks Milhouse will give it a try. Let you know if it works or not. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Devil-Strike - 2016-12-15 Hmm ok ssh login not working anymore, so must figure out how to find it, root/libreelec wont work anymore. Ok found it in de config, root/le. Tested the piotrasd build but same it stay's on 800Mhz stressed the system by playing hevc 10bit in softwaremode and upload to smb the sametime but it wont go to 2Ghz. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2016-12-16 New LibreELEC.tv Krypton build #1215: Generic (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of LibreELEC.tv master (7ab38141, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (9879ab4f, changelog) with the following modifications:

OK, not sure at the moment - the piotrasd build changes frequency for piotrasd, but this issue has been observed by other users with Cherry Trail. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Devil-Strike - 2016-12-16 Ok, not a real big problem it plays everything smooth(only 10bit hevc but that is ffmpeg thing), only file transfer is really slow(10a13MB/s) but for now I can live with it. If I can test something let me know. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - flyingernst - 2016-12-16 with #1215 file transfer still works with 113mb/sec right now (J4205 ITX). Clocksettings work normally. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2016-12-16 @cabal2k & @sw4y: Any change in DAZN behaviour with inputstream.adaptive 1.0.6 and removal of the (curl) header filter (build #1215)? The removal of the header filter will be dropped in the next build as it doesn't look like a popular change, but would be good to know if it has any effect on the issue you are both seeing. Clocksettings work normally. Strange here wont get more than 16MB/s tested with download files/smb/ftp, and it always stays at 799Mhz. Meaby bios bug? RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - flyingernst - 2016-12-16 Did you accidently Change the energy Management in BIOS?! Did a simple update (copy #1215 over #1214x) - no "real" change on DAZN behaviour. But it "feels" as if DAZN tries some more buffering and "tries" to start the stream (play icon in upper right corner - guess in older versions this wasn't). RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - kekomat - 2016-12-16 Anyone else having a problem booting after installing #1215?? "Failed to start Xorg Server" ... Running an ION v1 machine. Any way to fix the installation without wiping the system?? No current backup available Thanks in advance! Only disabled speedstep and c1 like i always do on intel systems, on all other systems iig baytrail this works to get the clock to the normal speeds. But alreay tested different bios settings, is now running on default settings, but still wont go to 2Ghz it hangs on 799Mhz. even tryed intel_pstate in kernel commandline but thats not working(on openelec it worked somehow) |
