Multiple Recording Folders - neild7744 - 2016-12-30

I would like to setup 2 recording folders within RS. One folder for 'General Recordings' and another for 'Recorded Movies'.

The idea is that I want to record movies into a specific folder so that Media Center Master can parse the recordings, rename then, fetch a load of metadata and load them into my 'Movies' folder automatically.

Within the DVBViewer Kodi plugin under the context menu 'add timers' I can specify a folder by manually typing in its location?... was wondering whether there is an easier way? ie a drop down menu?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Don't know about the folder select but everything you type in there definitely get's ignored.

@manül if your timer types do not support recording folders they should not define the respective timer type attribute. Then, there will be no more a recording folder input field in timer settings.

The PVR is still using the old timer types. New/custom timer types are still on my todo list.

Ah okay, then behavior of the settings dialog is as (bad) as it was with Isengard and before, it's static, not controlled by the actual add-on features.

It would be really great if we could be able to select between different recording folders. This would be a great advance in usability. Any chance for realisation in the near future?
